If anyone has seen the Pakistani drama -Dastaan, which is also based on partition, the fate of the female lead was truly heartbreaking.
I really hope neither amrit, vashma or radha have to go through that.

Yes, that was truly 💔
Also hope they keep a neutral view on the situation in terms of communities coz both sides suffered a lot in the bargain.

I don't think the show will go Dastaan way. They will each have their own struggles and lets see how the story moves forward.
hopefully not...dastan has presented Hindu and sikh communities in a very sinister way. i agreed there was violence against muslims but so against hindus/sikhs. let's hope sashi and sumit will keep the balanced view. it would be really disappointing to see plotline similar to dastan.
As amrit says in her vo this is her last basant in lahore so im assuming by independence her family will be leaving the city how is the question coz we know there was a lot of violence involved on both sides. Also randheers family might also have to leave karachi as well. As for washma her family probably will stay. It will depend on how realistic they wanna show the struggle of the refugees travelling and how her family settles in a new place. Amrit and randheer might make out as a couple but they will def face conflict if they are victims of the violence during partition.
Washma and Uday def will get separated neither family will be ok with their marriage in any shape. Both the older brothers and their thinking makes it clear there is def conflict ahead.
Dastan is based on a book and the FL family all had diff political pov. They showed the tragic reality of what happens to women in these situations and to families as well. The leads tragically were separated due to this and fate and even when they reunited it was all too much for bano and she had a breakdown.

I feel Pakistani and Indian dramas deliver different things. Pakistani dramas are more depressing whereas Indian ones are more romantic and entertainment so I highly doubt they would make it that sad
Bringing this up for discussion after Zohra bai track coz anything is now possible tbh.
Dastaan was marketed as a tragic story... So people were prepared for heartbreaking things... KUDCA is marketed as the story of 3 women amidst the partition... This show may go 'Aangan' way(another pak drama with partition backdrop) ... That show focused on the lives of main characters during the era rather than the tragedy part.
