These days the only moods I have re: TV shows are 1) romance and 2) light comedy. If you can combine them, even better, but no one makes rom-coms anymore 😒. Baaki I don't need any grimdark stuff these days...get enough of that from real life.

That's why I've kinda left getting invested in netflix shows.. except for certain few..all of them have this grimdark as you said, this macabre dark fantasy feel..

I do like this kinda vibe..but not in shows!! I prefer novels for supernatural fantasy and grimdark genre!!

The only one in this genre that I've recently liked is Lucifer!!

Lead actress is a little blah..but man you've got to watch the show..

Reasons- lucifer, mazikeen's character, ella and linda...i literally watch the show for these characters!!

See, I actually do like this genre/vibe. It's just that recently I'm never in that mood/space to watch them. The number of Netflix shows I've been meaning to watch and still haven't is too long to count, but I just can't...it's like my brain is fried, and all I can do is either watch older shows on repeat (ones I know and love) or try and find something light to just pass the time with.

Weirdly I don't really like fantasy/supernatural novels, or sci-fi ones, even though I enjoy that genre on TV. Has anyone seen 12 Monkeys? Maybe not the best watch for a pandemic, but such a good show.
