That's true👍🏼

I'm really interested in watching how the 2 families deal with the partition. It must have been a common scenario back then. So the way partition affects the relationships and how love stories continue post that will be interesting.

The execution is great so far.

Beautiful edit Arpita 🥰

Yes almost every episode drops hints of partition, those subtle hints increase the curiosity more and as you said execution is wonderful till date. Thank you 😳

Love the edit, it is beautiful ❤️

Yes, this show is introducing us to the time when people looked forward to the Independence with a lot of hopes for a brighter future, reminding us the beauty in diversity and living in harmony with just a common enemy in mind - the Angrez, and how the Partition, which is a painful reality for us when we study it in the pages of history was so real and caused relationships to be torn apart on the lines of religion.

I love the different social topics that they are exploring through the narrative too - whether it be freedom to express opinions as a woman, child marriage, young widows, inter-religion love and even just the simplicity of how an article and then single letter every month can be an expression of love. This show is raising my hopes and giving me a clearer view of a forgotten decade. Well written!

Exactly, you have expressed it so beautifully... A letter is letter WhatsApp, Facebook can't replace it in terms of emotions and feelings ☺️ Plus the media/press factor, I am sooo glad that Randheer and his family is related to press 👏 Thanks 😳

You've said it all 👏

This show has a lot of potential with so many issues that they can come up with. I hope the tracks are dealt nicely.

the built up is very nice so far..let's see if they will explore the grave topics like 1947-holocaust more or personal complex relations like that of Vashma and Uday. i am also very curious to know how Mr. Sahani and Mr. Baig will handle the partition and if their friendship can stand this approaching horror.

I have this weird feeling that they will show the character of Baig Sahab getting killed. I hope I am wrong.

Possible...lalaji is headstrong with partition. there were people like lalaji in reality as well who were in denial till the last moment. they were either killed or fled with empty hand. some shrewd men already show the wind coming so left west punjab much earlier. i think Mr.Baig will sacrifice his life to save lalaji. neighbours were killing each other rampantly. i hope there won't show something like this...🙁🙁🙁

Watching many people share stories of the time Lahore was Hindustan reminded of elders in Bangladesh remembering their Calcutta days. They might have left physically but their heart was still there
