Its the most childish story I have ever read on such a mature subject!

I have failed to understand what was this story really about? Was it about an extra marital affair or infidelity? or was it about falling out of love and growing apart over time like it happens in real life! It was supposed to be Khushi's journey to awakening and finding her true self but it failed miserably in the end to portray it! Here the story ended with the so called cheater husband becoming successful in changing his wife as per his own likes and getting what he wanted and the so called wife did that happily with zero self respect! It was indeed a rude awakening for me! A mere tattoo done on your body or your improved intimate life doesn't show the depth of inner change people go through after dealing with such issues in their relationship.

I can't come to any conclusion because its all a mess! Honestly I have failed to understand what this story was all about and I might really have missed the CRUX of the story as per the writer's reply to my comments on her blog! I have read this story on the blog but seeing it here on IF made me recall my past reading experience. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way then so be it!

I found it very hard to relate to the couple who don't even know how to communicate properly? Their misunderstandings and all other issues really feel worthless. It wasn't anything really serious when actually they just needed to talk to each other! Even kids know that well! If all real life couples start thinking about divorces because they are bored of their ROUTINE lives then it will really become a difficult world! I don't want to waste my time again in writing everything that I liked or didn't liked in the story because its pointless now! I have done that before on the blog and found that many writers love appreciation but they cant deal with criticism! When you shower your love and praise its all welcomed but when you express your dislikes or criticize something they try to shut you down with really childish replies like you should not have bothered to read further or you shouldn't have commented at all simply to hide the fact they don't have any proper explanation or response!

It was really a different story in Ipkknd fandom but not everyone can do justice to such bold and mature concept! I am not a fan of Indian TV and we don't get to watch good shows on Indian TV every time but I think the current television shows like "Anupama" or Marathi TV show "Aai Kuthe Kai karate" are portraying this serious subject really well. Concepts and plots might be slightly different but they are dealing with the same subject and doing great! Off course in the rat race for TRPs on Indian TV good shows are ruined beyond repair. I also loved Alt Balaji's "Kehane ko Humsafar Hain". I really didn't want to comment again on this story and starting a new debate isn't my intention. I just came across this story on IF and having recently watched the TV Shows who are dealing with the similar concepts in more deep and meaningful ways I remembered the rude response I got from the writer of this story on her blog few months back. I just want to tell the dear writer that every one has different perspective to different things. We all see the same thing differently! You might be right in you place and I might have missed the point of this story but it doesn't mean there can no different approach to see the same story!

I don't care getting banned from this platform for expressing what I honestly feel! Who cares? Its just a fiction! But there is no need to be rude to any one unnecessarily just because they don't agree with you! Take criticism sportingly!

As far I read it , he never cheated her , nor she . Actually this is the story of 75 persentage people in local india . If you locally see what real life happens you get it ... anyway everyone have their own perspective.

You mentioned two shows kahana ko tho hamsafar hia is one of the rubbish show I ever watched but you find it interesting . And Anupama....again the divorce treat as a taboo .All well educated self working woman are witch according to Indian TV . There is difference in living adjusted and sake of children....and most of a generation did so .

I don't think this platform ban you for anything till you are not braking any rules

Hey I wanted to drop in a word after reading your comment and i will start it by saying "each to his own". I'm writing this coz I have experienced something similar though not same in my life.

Not all people can express themselves clearly and communicate and it takes a long way to reach a point of trust and communication in a relationship.

I have not watched any of the shows you've mentioned and I believe there's really no mature way of dealing a situation. It varies from person to person. Some people run, some confront, some communicate and talk and some choose to keep it inside and suffer till reaching a breaking point.

Please do criticise writers if they're writing something disturbing, instigating some kind of emotions or writing not upto the mark or something like that and do it in a way where it doesn't hurt their feelings. They're writing and investing a lot of time and emotions into it and putting it on a platform which is free for people like us to read.

Calling it "childish" was a bit too harsh I felt. Again "each to his own".

love and cheers,

Kaveri
