Why Bollywood isn't remaking multistarer movies?

Nowadays every second movie is a remake but why bollywood isn't remaking movies like Amar Akbar Anthony, kala patthar etc.

3 pair movies.

Shahid is still pissed over being the second or third banana in Padmavati - and he needed a hit badly at that time - which it gave him.

I think it would be beneficial for some of the younger stars who are still trying to take it to the next level to do group films.

$$$ though is an obstacle when it comes to the bigger stars.

I'm still wondering how YRF is going to pay - even with heavily back end deals - for SRK, Salman and Hrithik when they supposedly do an entire film together that isn't just cameos by two of the three.

now its biopics / fake desh bhakti / poor remakes

miss those 70/80/90 wala bollywood

You have to be a very clever manipulator to manage the cast. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

They make it with smaller stars because they can't afford to pay all the big stars money. They charge quite a bit.

Also in comedy you still see multiple "stars"
