No Padma awards for Bollywood this year

Padma awards have been announced for this year but there are no Bollywood winners.

How does Hrithik not have a Padma award but Saif does?

When will Rani, Preity, Kareena and Deepika get their awards?

Karan Johar has a Padma but Aditya Chopra (and many other directors/producers don't)

Yes so many deserving people from Bollywood haven't won the award yet.

All the top 90's playback singers like Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Kavita K, Anuradha P have won Padma Shri but Alka Yagnik is ignored again and again. Don't know why.

Im waiting for Salmans still

I don't really mind, most of the folks who got the awards this year are all well deserving, infact the list is quite impressive. It's okay if BW didn't get one.

Disappointing but maybe they're trying to lay low with Bollywood and regroup after giving one to Kangana - who mentions it in every other tweet. 😆

The National Awards were delayed from last year. I wonder if they're just going to skip the years, bundle up 2019 & 2020, or award them individually but all at once.
