Sidharth shukla has won best model at international level .....he was the first asian not just first indian to receive that award. He also was a runner up in the gladrags manhant and megamodel contest as well. He got a lot of tv/advertisements offers after that...even did an advertisement where he visited 7 wonders with ICICI....then he got offer from television and he thought lets try it though he dint knew acting much. Like this season toh still Rubynav get bashed but last season toh inteha hogai thi. Like I’ve never ever seen such partiality in any season (not even in Gautam’s season).
Seeing as Sid is now used as Sallu’s replacement it just confirms ke Sid ki koi bohat next level setting thi with Colors.
On an unrelated note, do you know that Sid was first introduced in the tv industry under Mynisha’s supervision when she was at Sony?

Sid's next show was on star one, he did jaane pehchaane se yeh ajnabi there. After that he did some episodics like cid and aahat which many tv celebs do at starting stage of their careers ....cid and aahat used to need a lot of actors for everyday, so it was easy to get into them.
His next show was star plus....love you zindagii. So the whole logic of that when manisha was in sony ....he was doing sony isnt valid....because he just did one show woh bhi he selected kyonki usse offer ho rahe the roles due to his success in modelling and advertisements which does happens to many and some episodics there jismein jarurat nahi thi kisi ki....he was capable of getting them on his own....he worked on star one and star plus during that time as well....and i guess manisha was never related to star plus.
Now it might be a thing that when manisha moved to another channel....sid might have...ho sakta hain dost ho as you say fling aur usne hi suggest kiya ho sidharth ka name balika vadhu ke liye but she wasnt channel head and to be honest....and sidharth did gave the audition for balika vadhu.....direct selection nahi tha woh....and an actor is not just decided by channel only (aur manisha ki toh koi strong position thi bhi nahi tab ki woh actors decide kar le), production house ka agree karna is imp....balika vadhu is by a renowned production house......and sidharth performed brilliantly as shiv which gave him popularity. He won awards across all channels for his performance as shiv. Channel offered him jhalak and he had a crazy fan following who supported him with votes but he wasnt really a good dancer and had to go out at one point.
Karan noticed him there and felt that he could launch him in his movie and the launch again was successful....sidharth bagged award for his debut as well in stardust awards. Sidharth then got india's got talent....channel loved him due to his role's success in balika vadhu and karan also liked him who was a co-judge on the show (no need of manisha)...so he got india's got talent as a host where also he did exceptionally well for himself.
Then came dil se dil tak.....ofcourse by now he has worked for the channel so much and has given channel success in terms of trp's.....why won't he be considered.....the other main lead in the show was also a color's actress. When you work with people and give them success....log bhi aapko kaam denge.
Khatron ke khiladi ka woh season dekha hai maine and there was no favouritism.....except for the first task where balancing became difficult for him in the sky.....all the tasks he has performed exceptionally well....the proof is there for everyone to see on voot, he has won major tasks in the show. The task in which he was out was unfair. They were tied behind a car on a slate and car unhe chod degi beech mein and they had to cover distance after that.....sidharth was against tina and has a much heavier built than hers ....thus ofcourse his slate will stop first due to body weight....that was an unfair eviction and that is why he was brought back .....and there were other people in the season who were brought back like jay. When sidharth was back, he again performed really well.....his quarter finale, semi finale and finale stunt.....the guy nailed it. He deserved to win....his whole journey was amazing.
Big boss is offered to many celebs but most celebs don't select the show when they are doing extremely well. Everybody need a reason to do the show....and sidharth's was that he had a pause at that time in career....he was free and was getting good money through this. Channel wanted to cash on sid vs rashmi angle and that is why they took them both together in a singe season....usmein manisha ki jarurat nahi hain.
Big boss maine 3 season dekha hain, i have realized its scripted to quiet an extent kyonki people know what is going to happen....they say something aur bilkul waise hi ho bhi jaata hain many times and the show is biased....every season it is biased to some people......it wasn't just to sidharth and its majorly biased towards people who are generating major votes for them......they can't give trophy to someone who can't generate a fan following.....and sidharth has generated a major fan following through the show. Utna jitna he never had in life....this is his life's best time in terms of fan following.....and it is more than visible after an year as well. He deserved to win his season majorly because it was all about him....atleast till half of the season toh it was like there is no competition to him even.....the season major discussion was around SidSim, Sidnaaz, and Sidra.....these three created major buzz and the common thing btw them is Sid. He has everything in the show ....at a point sid vs house....after that a friendship turning into emotional attachment with sidnaaz, friends turn foes with asim, and purani dushmani with rashmi.....dosti and team angle going as well with arti, pahira. Everything favoured his win. I don't like his aggression and don't support him on that .....him going on someone's parents is definitely wrong as well and not appreciated. I have personally pointed it out in the season itself. But i do feel that he is really an intelligent person and he always had explanations for whatever he said on the show/he used to defend himself strongly which is necessary for such a show.....he is a logical individual and i did found logic in things he said on the show like in that kurkure task....the whole house may be against him but he was right when he was saying that in an advertsement, the product needs to be promoted....i get that logic...i think that way too and he has made some good strategies during the tasks. He has been a team player and stood for his people. His in it to win it attitude is appreciated by many. He was entertaining to me as an individual and his sarcasm has made me laugh a lot as well. Moreover he was a person who is very talkative and has a one on one relation with everyone.....this was extremely visible in family week....even people who dint know him from before were in talks with him....he is very interactive in general which is ofcourse good for the show. Like we do feel that the season is biased towards rubina but she will still win with votes because yehi sach hain that there is no competition in terms of votes abhi tak uske liye......the same way sidharth won because he had major amount of votes on his side in his season. The finale votes are audited.
Now him being introduced as a senior or him hosting at salman's place has all to do with the kind of popularity he has earned for himself. It rare and unbelievable....no one from big boss before got this kind of popularity....i am sure usne khud bhi nahi soacha hoga ki itna jyaada popular ho jayega.....he and sidnaaz keep trending on everyday basis. People are going mad over them....the amount of cakes/gifts they receive on everyday basis is also unbelievable only. Now when he as the winner has an year contract with colors.....ofcourse colors will use this majorly......unhe jab mauka mil raha hain, they are approaching him and he is doing it whenever it is possible for him to do.
I know all the above doesnt change what you feel for sidharth but then discrediting someone's career/someone's success is not something i personally appreciate.....thus i wanted to write this for everyone to read as well. I get people dont like him and i get the reasons as well but trying to portray that his entire career is like gifted to him just too much in my opinion....its a false narrative. The intention of the post is not to change anything in your mind but to give any reader of this post an idea that nobody can make anyone. All individuals who achieve something in their life get it because they worked hard for it. Sidharth is no industry insider....usne bhi apne liye sab banaya hain.... somebody who lost his dad at such an early age and has done sheer hardwork to achieve whatever he has today. None from his own family has been a part of the industry before. Nobody can earn you the success/the love he gets today.....it is you who have to put the hardwork and sidharth is an extremely hardworking individual and he owns his success. All the very best to him for his future endeavours.
