LOL yes, Malini has taken a deep liking to Imlie ever since Imlie helped her out in some shaadi functions....and also, you will see in the future epis, she starts referring to Imlie more often as "woh toh bacchi hai"....she considers Imlie a kid, hence not a realistic threat when it comes to Adi's attentions
. All this will change if Adi ever starts to be drawn towards Imlie and Malini notices.
It is in a way that Imlie tells Adi ke gharwale mujhe itna pyar isliye karte hai ki woh sach nahi jaante, so its like the perspective will change with the change in relationship. As you said once she feels even a little bit threatened, her insecurities will flare up.
Her mom will only flame it further because of her own experience. I guess Adi will start getting drawn when Imlies marriage thing will come up and that too with Sundar.
I do feel that will play a part on some level....cuz I keep coming back to the same thought as the story progresses....Adi-Imlie may be poles apart but they are able to instinctually connect on many points and then there's the fact that they've literally gone through fire together in many extreme circumstances too which has emotionally bonded them on a different level.
Adi-Imlie have definitely gone through a lot in a small span of time, which Malini- Adi have not. Inka ab very strong emotional bond ho gaya hai which they themselves have not recognized yet.
Today's epi again made me think that Adi is now trying to cling to Malini more out of defensiveness than actual deep love. The way he keeps repeating ki woh sirf Malini ka hai....lol bhai are you a toy ki tum kisi ke ho? And not like Imlie ever asks you ki "Mere bano"....all she says is that it's a factual truth that we are married and you are my husband....bas that's it....iske liye ITNE excessive declarations about "Main sirf Malini ka" ki kya zaroorat hai?
Adi is constantly ripped apart between guilt and responsibility now. He is really not able to have clear thinking , itna raita jo faila hua hai😆 Adi is just trying to convince himself on the meter of right and wrong, it is like a moral dilemma for him. Its like jitni zyaada baar woh bolega it will become real , “ Main sirf Malini ka “ is I guess a result of that.

LOL SR obsession se toh na uthne waali ITV junta....too many rotted minds here. Anyways, I agree with you otherwise ki the subject matter does need to be handled delicately given the complicated relationships....so far, I think the writers are finding ways to not let Adi-Malini consummate their marriage....there is always some Imlie related issue that crops up....but I'm not holding my breath either way.....Adi is very confused so things will oscillate for a while, no doubt.
That’s the thing, I don’t think they can forever find ways to not let Adi- Malini consummate. So will have to just wait to find out, lol!
Out of everything they have shown the only thing that constantly annoys and bothers me is Dev. I don’t know if its the actor or the way his character is written, I just feel like smacking him every time.
His constant denials on one hand and then his constant staring at Mithis pictures or drawing new ones is infuriating to watch. Even when Mithi comes to Delhi and he senses it every time and his cringy dialogues like uski khushbu yaha mehsoos ki . I really don’t know why but I hate his character 😆 Even though I like some of his scenes with Imlie, I just can’t enjoy it. Lol my Dev rant is over 🤣
Some random stuff from the episodes I watched till now. I really did not expect but appreciate how Mrs C dealt with Shanky. Her character did reform for a few episodes, the original Mrs C was not bad at all. 😆 Like it or not bohot baar she says the truth, while taking the family picture when Malini says Adi bilkul apki tarah hai, she says I hope not. 😆
There are so many little moments between the family throughout that has so much warmth and emotional connect, makes me wish we had seen this in real time so we could have discussed those. 😆 The radio scene, gadde pe sone ki arrangement, or the way Adi deals with Mrs C at times which shows his sense of humor.
