Episode 173 - The Grey shades of Riddhima

Grey

A color which is a mix of Black and white,

a color which symbolizes balance in an environment

which skips attention when splattered among other colors

A color which stops us from segregating people into black and white

Ishq mein Marjawan, A show where there are only people with grey shades.

No mahaanatha, Selfish, Protective, Lovable, fierce - The traits we see in every character.

Be it Riddhima, Be it Kabir , be it Ishani

Today's episode though a filler provides insight to one of the main character's grey's shades which we were waiting for - Riddhima

An episode which explored those shades of riddhima which sets her apart from other ITV heroines

A fine line between White and grey

Riddhima finally crosses it today.

Though we have seen bits of grey from her

Today we saw a full fledged Grey Riddhima

The Riddhima who will go to any lengths to get the truth

Just like Vansh who will go to any lengths to find his mother's killer, to protect Riddhima

Just like kabir who will go to any lengths to get his supposed revenge for his ruined upbringing

Just like Ishani who will go to any lengths to avenge her brother's death

But Riddhima's actions raises a question

The grey we saw today..Was it from Vansh's Queen or Kabir's Pawn?

Is it the training of the mastermind or the puppet master?

Riddhima's emotional manipulation of dadi and Vansh suggests its the work of the Pawn

while

The slight need for acknowledgement from dadi suggests its the Queen.

Riddhima is balancing between being the Pawn and Queen

The Promotion that took place in the game of chess seems a little hazy

Is the promotion not valid..How can that be..Did it not reach the eighth rank

Is the piece still a Pawn

Riddhima's further actions will decide the future not only for her but also for our beloved Kava

Master manipulators

serve in the background in today's episode while Riddhima takes the center stage

I had said in a post that Vansh' s possessiveness towards riddhima might lead him to take any harsh steps during the wedding

A line that Vansh himself states today

A veiled statement or threat where he warns that he shall be taken accountable for his actions which arose due to......the ritual...a ritualwhich was planned by Riddhima..Indirectly suggesting she ll be responsible for it.

Kabir, the puppet master, masterfully stays behind the curtains while enjoying the show, appreciating his smart work.

He is almost confident of his victory this time

Will evil triumph once again

or will the tables turn

The stage is set for the intermission scene of Phase 3

The curtain rises

We are ready to begin

The game is on

This time I don't want V doing something drastic during the wedding or forcing R to get married. She should take the lead this time and should herself choose him discarding all the past. Otherwise everything that they have gone through would be moot, and they would be back to square one. I want some repeat version of their first wedding with R trying to run away with K to find something and V trying to find her. But instead of falling in K's trap she should voluntarily come back and choose V and their relationship and not their past.

kabor is such a good observer, i can't help myself but compliment his single mindedness. he is a sociopath with no feeling towards anyone. one thing he can see is his mission.

Oh he would..History is repeating dear. Riddhima's constant spying on Vansh, Vansh's growing obsession on riddhima..If riddhima ever tries to leave the mansion based on half assed truth which i am sure will come out at the time of their wedding..Vansh will go to the same lengths he did during their first marriage

Just like how to stop her from leaving, he announced their marriage, he will make sure she is his wife once again. He will never give her the option to leave

Riddhima will never ask help from kabir directly..They will never come together as a team. But yeah..Riddhima needs to choose vansh with all of his darkness.

We need to wait and watch to see if they have learned from their past mistakes

Kabir is fantastic nowadays. I feel he was always a good observer. we should never forget that he was the one who predicted that Riddhima would be the downfall of Vansh. The disastrous revenge track disturbed Vansh and Kabir's character arc..But now happy that they are back on track.

Kabir is being at his manipulative best and unknowingly riddhima will falling into the same trap.
