That's why he let that pyaar wala slip-up when he was shouting at Sai after Amay kaand. He wishes Sai understands his feelings without him having to articulate. Like always he ended up confusing and hurting people.

I agree with u somewhere it's virat weakness as Ashwani said once virat don't open up to others & he keeps others above himself but I will say virat had created a shell around himself , he definitely need someone to help him to come out . Shell isliye create hua hai coz of too much expectations no support from his father ninad .

This show needs a breath of fresh air, and Samrat might just be what that is.

Totally agree with you about the job front, but I really doubt the makers would actually think beyond the titles into what actually is entailed in said titles that they've picked for their leads. I doubt they've done any sort of research into the level 2 of any of these characters and their motivations. Initial mindmap is all they have and double click Karo toh it's empty.

But that aside, completely agree that it would be a joy to see Sai and Samrat's relationship develop. They are both souls in a sort of similar predicament, except that Sai knew what she was getting into but did it due to lack of choice...whereas Samrat was blindsided.

She needs a friend who will back her and is also respected in this ridiculous excuse for a family.Yes she's got Ashwini, Shivani and Devi on her side...but really she's more like their leader. None of these members are regarded highly in the family and unfortunately it then is posed as a loser picks a loser saga. samrat would change that balance. He's not one to be shushed away with dancing eyebrows and huffing wolves. (also honestly I do not see any joy in Virat's jealousy with Aniket..it sort of reeks of patriarchy and also maybe a belief where his wife cannot befriend anyone from the opposite sex...I shall reserve my opinions until the track manifests...but literally did he expect her to be friendless for 5 years. This was also why Pulkit's dialogue of wah tumhari modern family hai that lets you study...ummm...its the most basic right..kaahe Ka modernity).

Another thing that could be really well done is the bromance! We've already established that Sunny is quite useless and potentially the worst friend someone could have. But Samrat could be the promised one! Not just eager to see the love between the brothers but equally someone who can call out Virat's bullshit and make him see exactly how he's hurting those (cough Sai cough) around him.

I think yeh Sab utopian dream hai...in the same universe as Machiavellian Pakhi... We'll continue to see scream matches....two or three scenes to pacify SaiRat fans...then rinse repeat. We can hope against hope, but I think the zillat arena and family policing is what is raking in the mooolah.

To Virat I say...tauda friend best mature friend... Sadda friend kaun Aniket?

Yeah the Aniket track would really make or break Virat for me. I don't think his character expects Sai to not be friends with anyone but that his jealousy is because he is not sure about his own emotions or his place in Sai's life. The CVs are mindless tho. If they chhapo Ronno on this track, I will be done with Virat.

About the utopia, I hope they check the forum to keep a finger on the pulse. I won't even mind if they plagiarise this as far as I get dates. 😭😭😭

Not sure if I can call Samrat as a sorted guy. He abandoned his mom and his family by listening to a one-sided phone call. He just assumed his missing in action will bring Virat and Pakhi closer without giving a thought to what Virat wants. How is he any different from Virat? He ran away from the situation without knowing the entire story. Maybe if he was around it would have been easy for Pakhi to move on from Virat.

Oh I don't think he's a sorted guy. He's a complex characters. This show lacks very many complex characters. I think, he would have had to go to the front in any case.

He'd be good for Sai because he won't feel indebted to her. I know he loves Virat but there's something slightly unequal about their dynamic.

Re the phone call, I don't think Virat's side was relevant because here was his wife expressing her love for another guy on their honeymoon. I don't believe that any third party is actually answerable in a marriage. His decision might have been rashly hastened, but he'd have had to leave anyway

He will not divorce pakhi, because pakhi being the cheapkali despokhi she is will claim in front of samrat that she wants to give their marriage another chance only because being married to samrat is the only way she can stay in chavan house to be around virat and separate sairat 🤢

I said this in the past too when I got to know that in the originals he is alive but stayed away intentionally so that virat-pakhi could be together apparently. I said at the time how on earth did he think it was reasonable to abandon his mother just for virat and pakhi who betrayed him and clearly didn't care too much of his feelings.

If the CVs actually expended any energy on originality they could explore this character so well. If this show were done realistically both Virat and Samrat would get very little time at home. Both of them would get transferred too frequently and the show would have to deal with the separation that comes with being Military-wives.

Assuming that Samrat is actually MIA and not willfully avoiding home like KD, then he'd be medically unfit to rejoin his regiment for a while. Psych assess and all that.

This could be the time where Samrat and Sai find true friends in the family. They would do each other so much good too. Sai could bring back the levity that Samrat might have lost during his stint and they will be blast together. Sai is the most sorted person in the deal wali marriage. But, she needs friends beyond Virat in the family. Virat clearly is not detached enough to an objectively good friend to her and the rest have parental love towards her.

Samrat could be the one to lead her to objectively sound decisions regarding the marriage and vice versa. I can totally see Samrat crushing over someone and excitedly confiding in Sai. The makers are clearly making Machiavelli to be a beyond-redemption caricature. Sai and Samrat deserve better

If Sai falls in love with Virat, Samrat's insight will only help her. If not, even then Samrat would be her rock and vice-versa.

I hit 'love it' reaction after just reading first line!!!!

I couldn't wish more ... ... I wish writers see this post.

We can tolerate a bit negativity if there is something balancing it - I mean a genuine friend / well wisher / support for sai ... unlike pendulum virat.

I already made posts/threads about - 'bring smarat back sooner and for everlasting role'... 3-4 times.

I so wish to watch sai- samrat bonding and supporting each other in that mess & mad nivas.

I would watch it at least 5-6 times if story goes this route....

True, that's why we want him back - he took impulsive decision. .. couldn't think rationally or was angry / felt betrayed by both: wife and brother.

I do NOT blame him completely - he was out of his mind - he just knew second day of his wedding that his wife is in love with his brother !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, He had only person to share - virat -who was in opposite side in this mess !!!!!!!!

It is a HUGE truth - anyone would get shock - and run away from picture.. specially if he is under the burden of favors of family.

ditto!

if samrat was not indebted to the C family - he may question pakhi and ask for clarification or do share with family - if it was his family (his father and mother).
