Sai climbing on the tree to check on her Abha was such a typical "SAI" thing to do 😆🤣
Please jaldi se next update dedo cannot wait to read more
And I hope Abha is alright please don't let anything happen to him 😭
Maybe Jagtap's people kidnapped him to stop Sai because otherwise there is no other way to stop her from filing an FIR.
Sai loves her Aaba a lot coz he is both parents to her ❤️
Updating shortly 👍🏼
Jagtap is an interesting character 😆

Updating shortly. Thanks for your patience.
Have not been in the best frame of mind past week due to a mishap.

What Sai will do in her professional life remains the same, but there is no marriage angle to it since she is too young to be bound by society and deserves to live her dreams at this juncture 😊

Heyy folks! Took sometime to write this out, but wanted to leave you all with something concrete. Enjoy and please do leave comments, it encourages me immensely to know what the readers think about my work!
Chapter 2
She got down from the tree with panic written across her face and started sprinting towards the area where the vehicles were parked. Aaba could not be kidnapped by Jagtap, could he? She should find a bicycle and head to his house then. Virat was a little concerned with the way her feet seemed to have taken a flight, and she did not seem to be reacting to anything he was saying. He followed her to see where she was going, he could not let her out of his sight given that she was a sole eyewitness to the Jagtap scene and the FIR needed to still be registered. He had promised her and Sneha that he would safely accompany them back, and she was his responsibility right now. "Sai..Sai..where are you off to? Sai?" He touched her shoulder gently, and it got her out of her frantic state. Her head was spinning with all the rapid thoughts overwhelming her and not having lunch or anything to eat post the exam. "Aaba..not.. here..Jagtap..kidnapped..Aaba.." were the only words she could utter before she fainted on the spot. Virat called some fellow officers and asked them for the FIR register book, and told them to inform him immediately incase they needed any further help from his end. Then he gently carried her to the jeep, unlocked it, and placed her next to where Sneha was still rested.
Jagtap kidnapped Kamal Sir? Or was it just something that Sai is thinking because she threatened to write an FIR and we are unable to locate him here? Virat called up Kamal Sir's home number, and it went to the answering machine. He tried a few times more before their household help picked up: "Hello? Kon aahe he? Who is this?" "I am ACP Virat Chavan. Is Kamal Sir at home?" "Nai, neither Kamal Dada nor Sai are home. Maybe he is on duty, please try his mobile number. It is ##########." "Thank You, Usha Tai." He called on the mobile number, but it seemed to be turned off. This meant that maybe Sai could have been on point about the situation.
Now that was unforgivable in Virat's eyes. His mentor meant the world to him, and he cannot leave him in danger if that is the case. This needed his urgent intervention and he needed to investigate the possibility personally before calling and deploying the forces. It was late now, and the sun had already set, he forgot how the day had passed, and the girls were still under his wing. He called up his contact and asked for Jagtap and Sneha's address. First he would drop them at Sneha's house and then go to Mane's house to look for Kamal Sir. He drove to Sneha's house and rang the bell. Mr. and Mrs. Shirke were visibly shocked to see a policeman at their doorstep, but they were definitely relieved to see both the girls safe and sound. Mrs. Shirke woke up both the girls and asked them to come inside and get ready for dinner. They offered Virat to stop for dinner too, since he was still fairly new to GC and would not know that the shops and public places closed around 7.30 pm.
Sai seemed to be very disturbed and did not want to go inside but since Virat had already told them how she had fainted, she could not resist much, she did need some strength to go and break Jagtap's jaw. Besides, this was a good chance for her to plan her moves properly. Maybe she could take the help of ACP Virat to execute it and get them arrested. It was always her coveted wish to see Jagtap in handcuffs, dragged to jail and put in life imprisonment for the disgusting human being that he was. But since the GC police station was now almost in ashes, where would they take him? Wherever we take him, I hope he rots in hell for his offences. If my Aaba is harmed even a little bit, I will make sure to hurt him so badly that he won't be able to get up for days.
Virat pondered for a few minutes, then thought it was best to go inside and atleast freshen up. He looked like a mess given that he did help the firefighters rescue the officers and equipment. Also seemed like a sensible opportunity to get the FIR complaint written down. If Jagtap had indeed kidnapped Kamal Sir, a search warrant would be beneficial to his cause instead of just barging into the Mane's house, right? They seemed to be well-connected to the mafia and he should not risk his chance in the first week of his posting itself. He followed the girls inside with the FIR register in his hand. After they had all eaten, or as Virat would like to term it - compelled to eat, Virat asked the girls to recount all their experiences with Jagtap and file their FIR. Before Sai and Sneha started to speak, Mr. Shirke blatantly refused to let his daughter have anything to do with that family.
"ACP Saheb..you don't know who you are messing with. Ravi, a young boy of merely 20 years of age, who was the son of a humble farmer had spoken against Jagtap's misdeeds..next day..his battered body had been found ruthlessly thrown in the river. Kamal Dada has being trying to nab him for quite a few months now to no avail. What guarantee do we have that our family will not be harmed too? Noone dares to raise a voice against the Manes because we all value our safety. Police officers come and go in this area as frequently as buses and trains, and we do not trust that there is no corruption in that system. Call us cowards, but we are very simple people whose life makes no difference to anyone but us." "Okay Sir, I respect your sentiments, but in good faith, I leave it to the girls to decide if they would like to pursue this further. Sneha, what do you want to do?" "I agree with Baba. I don't want to put my family in danger, Sir." "Fair enough, then maybe I should go if no complaint is being filed-"
Sai's determined voice cut in even before he could complete that dismal sentence."Wait a minute..you did not bother to even ask me? Sneha not going ahead does not mean I am backing down! I am a respected police officer's daughter and I know how to play with fire ever since I was a kid. I will file a FIR against Jagtap Mane to be booked under IPC sections 294, 354, 355 and 509 on an immediate basis. Also add a clause for IPC 359: Possible kidnapping of Kamal Joshi." Virat could not help but break into a smile at this indomitable spirit. He was right about his first judgement, Sai indeed did have Kamal Sir's soul reflecting in her eyes. "Thank You Sai. The First Information Report has been registered and now we can work on it. With this done, I will now take your leave. Please stay safe with the Shirkes, Kamal Sir or I will pick you up tomorrow once we wrap up this case."
He had not taken one step back and he heard her say: "What makes you think that I will be here when my father might be in a grave situation? Do you seriously see me as being that selfish?" "It is not that Sai, you need to understand he could be armed and have some protection there, which is not an ideal scenario for a young girl like you. I admire your bravery, but we do not want any casualties there, do we?" "I am a black belt in Karate, 2nd Kyu. I have been training since I was a child since Aaba has always been in the midst of such high-risk cases, and can protect myself. Rest assured, you will not have to worry about my well-being. Also think of this, I am a GC resident, I know the shortcuts and lanes just like the palm of my hand. I will obviously be an asset to you since I know the area well." After a few rounds of trying to convince Sai and failing miserably, Virat agreed to take her along.
Is Aaba really at Jagtap's house? Or is he actually somewhere else?
