IMO, Virat’s response was thanda, and Pakhi still tried to create a big issue out of it by saying this sentence.

I think what Pakhi was trying to say is, Mamiji, hume bhi Sai se maafi mang leni chahiye warna jis tarah se Virat ne aapko sunaya hai, woh (Sai) bhi hum sab ko sunane lagegi.

Virat scolded Kaku. Sai didn't say a word, still Pakhi brought Sai's name up, baiting Sai to start a fight and then make a mountain out of molehill .

KaKu and PP should have surrendered this fight and let Sai go at this point. Pakhi in her over enthusiasm to taunt Sai forgot that Virat is standing right there. Even if he doesn't know what happened before, atleast now he has seen Sai didnt say a word to them since the time he walked over.

Even if Sai says anything against Pakhi at this point , he will support her.

But like you said, based on his expression, he understood PP is deliberately doing this.

So looks like he might be given a reply to her instead of Sai tomorrow.

the thing is sarpika always does that, she taunts and speaks nonsense in front of virat every time.

yeh pehli bhar nay hai. and virat gives that 'suspicious' wala expression also every time.

but woh woh bolta kuch nay hai uske bharemein, only on shivani's incident he told her that she should have done what sai did. uske alaawa ne never got suspicious about

• mauke ka faida uatake sai ke bharemein uske saamne hi bakwaas karna,

• usse instigate karna against sai by complaining about her always

• asking him personal and weird questions
• paani haat mein leke raat ko intazzar karna

still, he just gives those expressions as if thinking ki 'yeh bol kya rai hai?' uske baadh back to normal by ignoring everything and lets her interfere in his private space and talk ill about his wife and hears everything by standing still.🤪
