This show is something that all retro music lovers have got addicted to and wait for anxiously, every Wednesday night without fail. Come rain or shine, exams or deadlines, addicted retro lovers don't like to give the show a miss!!!
When a week turned into a month and a month turned into a year and now into two years, no one has realised how time passed by. It seems just yesterday that the first episode dedicated to RD Burman was aired.
The show dedicated to Indian musical legends of the yesteryears, in these two years have taken us through a grand musical journey traversing through the golden era of Indian film music and has featured shows on noted composers, singers, lyricists, actors/actresses/ occasions and on special situations.
Every week, it has presented the listeners with an unique themes. The show has helped us relive those nostalgic bygone years, helped us reacquaint ourselves with the magic of those timeless melodies that is still so afresh, it has reintroduced us to those maestros who gifted us with such a treasure and has updated on many a finer points and trivia associated with the songs and the song makers that's we were unaware of. Thanks to Retro Cafe show, the new generation of IndiaForums has got a taste of the wonderful treat of the golden era.
We thank you all for the wonderful association, support, encouragement, advices and above all for appreciating the show so much and for being such fabulous Retro family members. Together we will make this show the most wonderful memory for our future times. Let's relive the blast from the past and take it forward.
