Characters - though supporting are important for overall development of plot

But here they have zero growth or depth

There is not much to say about the rest of the family because the only thing they will do is crib and create drama for the show.

But Pakhi is a parallel lead.

It is mandatory that they start focusing on her character growth and set a clearer picture about her role. Or else PP will be reduced to a mere jealous and jilted lover of the ML.

Sairat in the other versions were very shallow and lacked connection. There was supposed to be love but always misunderstood each other. In fact, in Bengali version Emon trusts Rono when Roopkotha says she is pregnant with his child but gets insecure when a woman named Shruti gets involved 🤔

We really need to see some changes and freshness in the story.

I think the point they made was Pakhi is willing to go to any extent for Virat. If she can marry his brother for him, i dont know how she will be with Sai. I def see her acting to Virat to create misunderstandings and separation between them. She even talked about rishta breaking today which, if i was Sai, I would take very seriously and cautiously. its extremely rude to even think abt or tlk rishta breaking to a married couple.

But looks like one of them with same old repeated taunts

Haven’t seen the other versions

But here I feel Sai’s character is written quite well - she’s likeable but also has some flaws - Very realistic

Virat is weak as Son and Husband but again has more to explore and offer as a character than Pakhi

I saw this show’s promo and I felt it would be great and realistic (to some extent) like Krpkab

The other girl is just a jealous ex-crush of ML , not even gf lol 🤪

In laws are quite inhuman, never seen such negative ppl - kuch aur kaam nhi hai inhe 😡

Ml is IPS - but is actually oblivious to his family’s antics

He’s weak for sure - but this is just the start- I HOPE he grows with Sairat relationship

I haven't watched the other versions either but went through the episode summaries of a few episodes and read a lot about them on the forum. This version has Virat as quiet sensible character so I cannot imagine him doing things the ML in other shows did.

Sai is my jigar ka tukda. I adore how her character is so real. She is an 18 yr old who hates being told off on everything she does and she treats everyone the same way they treat her. She is called a bacchi by everyone yet is expected to behave 'maturely' and it irks her because when their expectations are not met, they start abusing her.

I am proud of Sai and Ayesha. They are both quite real and doing very well 👏

I don't watch off screen videos nor follow them because mostly whatever the show I follow their leads have not good bonding off screen and after I get to know that I can't enjoy them onscreen..so no idea about it .but as much I read on IF ,it shows Pakhi actress is quite defensive when it comes to her character..she should not do that .she is not Pakhi .if she starts to behave like character and if it's third angle in main leads than she shoy have to takeore care otherwise people easily start to target them on SM .

It's good that you don't follow or see the off screen bits. It saves you from ruining your sanity. I've started following the same now. But till few days ago, I was going through all the BTS things. And through those what I observed is that the pakhi actress is actually very defensive, I felt so coz of the clarification she have for the on set new year celebration (if anyone has seen it) she doesn't act much but off screen she tries to drag all the attention to herself by some weird antics and even side lines the main lead (who seems to be too sincere and engrossed in her work that she doesn't have the time for all this nonsense, which is great)

P.S. it's completely my personal observation, can be wrong too, I don't know her personally🙈
