He feels time slowing into a crawl as she lifts her hand and plucks the chickpea stuck in the lapel of his kurta. With a slight smile, she pops it in her mouth. For a second, Virendra cannot hear anything but the rushing of blood in his ears. It must be due to the abnormal amount of blood going to his head that he does what he does next. Leaning forward, he brushes his lips against hers.

He feels her fingers trace the muscles of his chest, trailing upwards until they entwine with the locks of his hair. She moves her mouth against his, a hesitant exploration that causes any thoughts of restraint he had in his head to fly straight out of the window. With a groan, he deepens the kiss. His hand lifts to encircle the nape of her neck and tilt her head so he can better access her mouth. The tip of his tongue traces her bottom lip, causing her to open her mouth in a soft moan. He wastes no time in pressing the advantage he has gained. He invades her mouth, tasting the sweetness of her for the first time. He doesn't think he can ever get enough of her taste.

A soft hand on his arm startles him out of his damning thoughts.

Purvi lifts an eyebrow in question, "Kahaan kho gaye the aap?"

Virendra feels a flush rising from his chest. "Kahin nahin. Tu chane kha," he tells her with a glare.

Turning his head towards the car window, he tries to combat the panic rising in his chest with deep breaths. What the hell was that?!
