No. Not the character, not the actress, not the director, not the movie.

There are infinitely better female roles performed by infinitely better artists all over the place.

I second this. I don't which is the most magnificent character I have watched but it certainly is not Jodhabai by Aish. Even if I made a list of 50 magnificent characters I am not sure if I will name her.

hema as basanti

nargis as mother india

madhubala as anarkali

are more famous than jodha bai character

i mean if you do survey of ppl born from 1940 to 2020 range

above three i listed will be more choice for all age groups and in recall value

and madhuri would be most popular actress all age groups from 80 to 20 age i feel

yes for serials in last 20 years its tulsi, parvati and jodha and sanyogita most remembered as serials were hit

but not movies because more ppl watch a movie than serial and more age groups watch a movie

like men of all age group or young ppl may not have watched tv serials to know these characters

also craze for serials is on city usually villages very rare

if you ask who these ppl are in villages no one will know

but movies even in remote villages as amitabh bachchan or dilip kumar or madhubala or madhuri dixit or hema malini everyone know most illiterate who never went to theatre also know them

ok go to south, north, east or west all villages these ppl are known to most ppl from 80 years to 20 years

i was also shocked but its true i was also surprised that 80/90 year old villagers who never went to theatre or watch tv know dilip kumar, madhubala, ab etc they have heard about them seen pictures or photos of these stars etc
