I don't think Veer has lost only his powers. From Ballu's dialogues and the way they show him so weak..he is losing his entire soul or total Shakti as a a cheel and a human. That's why Ballu is insisting that he is about to die. Looks like he is slowly losing all his energy.

Yeah exactly he is not only physically weak. He himself knows what's happening with him and that's why he is getting weak mentally as well

I doubt they will show the first part I would love them to. But knowing them they will forget about that part and focus on the second part 😆
