Loved Pakhi's Dad's

The way Pakhis dad is shown , I really loved it. While he is so caring about her, he always gives her the best of advice to move forward in life. One particular line that I loved in Jan 2nd episode. ..Hamesha Jeethanekiliye socho, kisiko haranake barayme nahi..Very beautifully writtend. Kudos to dialogue writers.

Yeah that is indeed superb one.👏

But he is so bipolar and he gives conflicting advices😕

Pakhi said that her mom told her to quit her job if she wanna marry into Chavan niwas, but they seemed very supportive of her job today. So, she left her job for a guy she barely knew😲

She left job to marry Samrat? How could she and her family accept such a condition!!

This itself shows how regressive the family is.. Wasn't Virat aware of the attitude of his family?? How can a family of Armymen and IPS officers be like this!!!!

I like pakhi mom more than her dad, she speaks the truth some times... she said something like...

'no one stays alone for a promise whole life... dont be silly and have high hope from that promise... '

Pakhi's dad behaves ... like pakhi's place in CH is through/for virat , NOT samrat...

He even talked rudely to sai couple of times like she was... a girl friend of his son-in-law !!!!!!

I skipped a lot of Pakhi scenes...but it seems that her parents were aware of the fact that DIL did not work and they probably asked her to quit. And she did.

Its not only armymen, IPS, i've seen family of teachers, doctors forbidding their DIL to work. Education and a high post/status does not make you intelligent!

Yeah, the mom is 'realistic', if I can use this term here.

Seeing the father, I get where Pakhi got her attitude from. Not a fan of either parent, but I prefer the mom.

Bigger question : If ACP Virat Chavan knew about these rules and regulations, why marry a girl with such high ambitions and make her go through this petty drama everyday? 😆

That was a beautiful line though- focus on your wins not on others losses. PP or BK scenes ko main usually fast forward karti hoon but this was a really good line... PPs parents are very supportive and today they gave great advice. Also its great that PPs parents know everything about her life including the aspect about her being in love with Virat. Shes absolutely transparent with them. Aisa relationship with parents is very hard to find. Often times its hard to talk to parents about certain aspects of ones life. Even in Virats case we see the divide between him and his parents. No doubt there is mutual love. Virat looked up to his dad as a role model and he thought of his dad as the "friend"and guide. (Voh equation toh abhi clearly nahi raha) his mom was the indulgent, affectionate and supportive one. But their relationship is not fully transparent. Virats mom figured out virats feelings for PP because shes perceptive and afterall maa hai. But they have never openly addressed it like PP and her parents have. And because of all the drama after Sais entry in their life virat is finally seeing just how fractured relationship of his parents is. Jahaan pyaar toh nahi hai. Sirf zimmedari hai shaayad. He should learn from that. Zimmedari aur promises ke alavaa relationship main warmth aur respect ki bhi zarurat hai varna theres only bitterness left. I think he always knew it but chose to ignore it because facing the reality is often tough. Clearly ashwini ne bahut saha hai but unfortunately she didn't have the support to speak up when needed and now she finally identifies with Sai and has started voicing her dissent. I think thats also why virat from the beginning has been very wary of his mom finding out that the basis for his relationship was a deal and samjhauta because he knows she sees herself in Sai and she'll be broken if she knows that her sons marriage is also fractured and namesake. Ashwini already knows that the start of the Sairat marriage is not love just like her own but she really wants to see their relationship fare better than hers. She believes in the sanctity of the bond and clearly it means a lot to her. From her actions especially with the rituals that she conducted for Sairat, shes making it known that she wants Sairat to look past the circumstances of the marriage and focus on making it work.

Exactly, bekar mai extra jhamela for her.. She would have been better off in a hostel with him just paying her fees..
