I am not very surprised by Arjun being drugged........... coz much to the surprise of our modern generation....... there were/are herbs that can be used to this effect. And Aurveda in those days wasn't that bad really.......... as we imagine.

Drugging someone in 12th century isn't as big a deal............. as the fact that the villagers did not notice 2 people on Arjun's horse😕......... then a commoner is fully aware of whereabouts of 'dilli ka Maharaj'😲😕. And Maharaj was looking for his lost friend alone.......... without even a search team??😕😲......... though Prithvi roaming alone is not as surprising coz., this is not the first time he is doing it. 😡...... but it just adds to weirdness
