Yep, another good epi of SAKK.
The father-son scene was a nice one....finally they showed a bit more of Shaurya beyond just his worship of Taya-Tayi. Shaan laments that Shaurya's mind has been poisoned so much but phir bhi woh khud barely haq jataa paata hai apne hi bete pe.....such an unbelievably weak man he is. The little bit when Shaurya holds up the magazine and says, "kabhi apne bete ke baare mein bhi kuch jaan liya keejiye".....that makes it seem like Shaan ended up neglecting Shaurya too and Shaurya ko bhi uski kami feel hoti hai even though he shows contempt for his father's weak personality.
Ultimately it seems like Shaurya feels let down by both his parents but he just shows it differently to each of them....with his mom, he refuses to even grant her basic respect or regard while with his father, he allows the title of Dad but otherwise mostly ignores/dismisses him.....ek formality hai us rishte mein bhi.....and the blame can't fall only on Shaurya or the manipulations of Taya-Tayi......Shaan let him down.
Woh dining table scene mein bhi Shaan could only manage to defend his wife on token semantics ki "usko nahin UNKO bolo".....lol as if that will achieve anything.....and it won't change the truth about why Aastha had to leave.....Shaan wahin ka wahin hai....still too weak to do anything but make token comments to his family. He is so weak that he can't take a stand either way....na fully family ke saath khadaa reh paaya to cut off from Aastha nor is he able to support Aastha properly. Dunno how such a man expects anything from anyone in a relationship then.
He really does live in his own world if he thinks that Shaurya-Aastha would have some emo reunion....that way Shaurya ka response sahi tha ki what did you expect? And uske baad Shaan asking if Aastha asked about him....LOL....obviously she won't respond to you when you didn't bother supporting her.....her silence in the face of his messages speaks volumes.....but the fact that she still hasn't blocked him or stopped using his name shows that she doesn't want to break it off with him either....she still cares for him, but is disappointed in him.
Btw phulka suddenly kaise phool gaya dining table tak pahunchte pahunchte?😆.....and LOL@ lame Sabharwals wanting some chhote sheher ki ladki jo "ghar chalaana jaanti hai"....LMAO aajkal chhote sheher ki ladkiyaan bhi bahut tez ho gayi hain....wahaan se bhi zyada der nahin milega stock aise misogynists ko.
Aastha was just FAB in her interaction with Ramesh.....again that fierce dignity with which she stood her ground as he tried to insult her.....sach mein amazing self-respect and character this woman has to have faced so much and not been debilitated by it.....I also loved the little interaction b/w Rama and Aastha.....the way Rama was watching her with a kind of awe and gratefulness almost as if thanking her for giving so much to her daughter....and Aastha noticing the way Ramesh treats Rama....sab kuch bas glances mein hi convey ho raha tha.
Oh one thing I realized today is that Babli's in-laws are in Chandigarh....toh I'm guessing once Anokhi goes there to study in SI, Babli ki story bhi dikhaate rahenge side mein and hopefully she will find the courage to leave her loser husband one day and chart her own path. Good for her that she's taking birth control and not wanting to produce any offspring for such an abuser.
Precap mein finally kuch new scenes dikhaaye.....so Shagun will come to talk to Shaurya again and prophesize that one day he will manage to fall in love with someone who has a different soch than him😆....tab usko realize hoga kaise feel hota hai....lol
I just find it too hard to imagine how SA can fall in love....lol I guess they will find some redeeming features in each other despite the huge ideological divide in their soch. I'm intrigued to see how Shaurya manages to start respecting a fierce progressive girl like Anokhi.....and Anokhi ko kya dikhega ismein.....lol
Mujhe thoda Shivika deja vu ho raha hai except in the case of Shivaay, we could already see his redeeming feature vis a vis his love for his family.....yeh Shaurya ka redeeming feature kya hai so far bhai?😆.....I guess so far the fact that he doesn't go out of his way to pull down ppl can be one😆....only person he reserves extra taunts and disrespect for is his mother but I guess wahaan it's a more personal grudge so understandable from a character POV.
Real story will start once Anokhi lands up at SI....abhi toh build up hi chal raha hai....tab hi real idea hoga where the story is headed in terms of execution.
