How on earth did Kiara finding Deepika's body enviable turn into this hot mess of a discussion? I'm sure most of the women who are not as fit would envy a body like Deepika's and that's not exclusive to her. They also mentioned Katrina in the same sentence cuz her body is equally enviable, if not more. Has anyone even watched it in the first place? 😆

As for what I was talking about, thanks for taking it out of context but I was saying that she was playing a non-glam role and yet earned a decent initial.

The common mindset of the audience is they love beautiful, glamorous heroines. This was an exception, and Deepika strayed from one of her strong points. Not everyone is intellectual enough to accept that.

On one hand you say people went to see Deepika play an acid attack survivor and on the other you it earned a decent initial despite her playing a non glam role.😆 So what's the achievement in that when people accepted Deepika in a role like that despite being 'non glam'?

Because they were all fantastic films and relied on good story,screenplay and acting which Chapaak lacked.Hence the film was a failure while the others weren't. Only her fans will live in a lala land where people will pay money to see Deepika with prosthetics. Those who went, went for the real life story of Lakshmi that was very much publicized wayy before Chapaak happened.

If people had only gone to watch Deepika then it's horrible that it only had 4 Cr opening given how you keep opening topics of her being the last superstar. Which superstar gives 4 Cr opening for a film? A superstar will guarantee a terrific opening despite what the film is and how their makeup is in the film.

And no thank you, I don't want to be intellectual if that means praising sub par actors like Deepika and Tritpi day in and day out in the forum.

I didn't ask you to be intellectual nor I was referring to you. But sub par? Give me a break.

First you call my topics annoying, of course I'm going to get back at you. But you have always jumped into topics which are about Deepika to bash her. People like you are easy to anticipate, who come into a topic just to bash, you don't have any favourites and positive opinions of even the best, everyone will be subpar to you because of your anti-success attitude.
