Can Tara Sutaria become a superstar? Why/why not?

I am asking this question because she seems very popular on this platform. So I want to ask her admirers and also the neutral folk: what are the prospects of Tara in becoming a superstar? Does she have it in her? Lack of acting skills aside, the girl seems to have generated a positive buzz on social media, as opposed to Ananya, Jhanvi and Sara who invite a lot of negativity.

Lack of alternatives aside, this girl must be doing something right if she has so many fans after being super-duper average in her first 2 movies. What makes her special?

She has been genuinely working since her childhood and has made her way up, not like what Maheep said on Fab Lives.

Starting from kids awards to reality shows then disney VJ, theatre, opera and lead roles in disney sitcoms.

The audience can find this on the internet and they appreciate genuinely hardworking guys. Thats why people like her alot.

SOTY 2 was a terrible debut for her, all the good part in that snoozefest went to the star kids when a ballet dancer didn't get her moment to shine in a song like Fakira.

She was much better in Mar Jaawan, but that too was an all round Sid film, Tara hardly had anything to do. But she did do well in her death scene. I saw she could emote but wasn't getting the chance.

Her main chance will be Tadap. The og is fab and can catapult both Tara and Ahan to stardom if they've done well.

She deserves much better than the scripts she is getting. Maybe SLB will spot her and make a Parsi/Irani love story...after all they had also arrived at Gujarat.

Her insta feed is good and makes for excellent viewing material. Whether that will translate into a real movies success well time will tell.

None of today's actresses can become superstars. Most of them are nepo kids with average looks. They can survive with their filmy connection. The outsiders don't have the x factor. They have forgettable faces.

I don't think this forum is a good sample of regular bollywood audience. We trash on some of the most popular stars who have all the fans and obsess over many stars who have very little.

I don't see Tara becoming a superstar. She is pretty and her acting is decent. The types of roles she chooses and the types of roles that are given to her are not the roles that will make a superstar in my opinion. In order for an actress to really establish herself these days either she needs to be a commercial hit or critical hit. Some of the biggest and highest grossing movies need to go to her. Unfortunately Bollywood no longer makes enough of those HIT masala movies with pretty female flower pot roles. Like back in the days you could be a leading heroine in a movie with a superstar like Akshay, Salman and SRK and it would take you places but these actresses are so young they can't pair with the biggest superstars and no male star in their generation has that much pull. Only Tiger, somewhat. You can do the Housefull or Race franchise but those won't take you anywhere.

The second option is doing offbeat films that impress the critics and fans who care about content. So far nothing she has chosen seems like she is planning to be that type of an actress. It's hard to be that type of an actress too because a successful critically acclaimed director only works with the notable talents. Very few want to work with new director who hasn't made it big yet. so not many want to take that path.

The superstar era ended with Deepika Katrina. Dont think it's coming back anytime soon, especially not with Tara.

She's beautiful and hot asf but too polished and a shy personality to have much connect with the audience.

She belongs to rich SOBO family. For her it would be easy as she comes from the same school were rich kids and bollywood kids studied.
