They made him leave the show to generate hue n cry n increase their failing trps. None of the eliminations were proper this time except Shardul's. I dnt understand y r the makers labelling him ki darr k bhag gya. They shouldnt use these words. They r questioning themselves on it then. Aapne dare hue insan ko councel kyu nhi kia? Use voluntary exit ka option kyu dia? Penalty k 2 crore kyu maaf kr diye? Coz woh darr gya tha??? To aap 2 crore jane doge? Waaaaah!!!

I think we all know deep down that Rahul was removed from the house to save Jasmin.

The whole homesick thing was just bullshit scripted drama. Maybe Bigg Boss wanted him to win the shark task to make his place, and remove Abhinav through public voting.

But their plan failed as Rahul gave up easily. They couldn't remove Jasmin because of public voting, maybe because of contract, so they had to remove Rahul. Now they are pissed off over Rahul because he was one of their favoured contestants, and because of it he turned more and more arrogant.

Now they are punishing him and Nikki to bring them back to ground to not take their privilege for granted, and be like their original selves, which they were before leaving the show.

While Rahul is an arrogant prick, and I don't mind if he's called bhagoda by other housemates if he demeans them.... Salman insulting him again and again does make it bullying.

Because he's in the position of power so Rahul can't say anything to him. He actually didn't ran away, but Salman's word is taken as final in the house so it becomes problematic.
