When in love.
Part 3. Final.
They say love is above everything, above all expectations and all boundations and above all relations.
And you fight for it. Even when the whole world is against you, even when they want to keep you apart from the one person who is meant for you, when there are a thousand and one things keeping you away from the one person you can't stay away from, you fight for it and win. You win because love is worth it.
Asad had had enough of the society and those people who wanted to keep him away from Zoya. He had shown immense patience, partly because he blamed himself and partly because he thought he deserved this pain of separation. He had faced something he never imagined he would and it was tearing him apart bit by bit. Staying away from her was harder than he thought and he just DOESN'T WANT to now.
For once, maybe for the first time in his life, he wants to be selfish and bring back the love of his life back where she belongs, by his side and in his home.
And so he does.
There are arguments and accusations but he doesn't give a damn. For the first time, he doesn't care about anything else but his own happiness, which was so long overdue that it feels it has never happened before. Has it? He couldn't remember.
"Zoya sirf meri hai."
And that shuts up everyone. That truth is so profound that no one could argue it, no one could deny it. He is a lion protecting his own and no one, absolutely no one can come in his way.
His eyes only see her and his lips only want to say her name. There's a crowd in the great hall but he doesn't see anyone but her.
And his courage gives her courage. His trust in her gives her strength, and she accepts it, brings the life back in his eyes, brings the happiness he so desparately wants to have.
No one is above love. Nothing is above love.
Karan, do you know how powerful your mere presence in a scene is? You command all attention, you make us helpless to do anything but see you and hear you. You are so magestic, it's almost raw. It's almost feral when your Asad is angry and the next moment your Asad looks at his love with his heart in his eyes. How do you do this, the switch between your expressions, your feelings so well and so swiftly and it's impossible for me to do anything but love it. And want it. More. All. The. Time.
I'm just appreciating what you have done. And I know you'll bring the old and new together so well in Qubool Hai 2.0 that we'll be just as mesmerized, if not more. ❤️
We'll love you anyway K, and that's a forever promise.
