The apology with candles scene was good... I liked it...Am ok with this matured types Veer as he was not shown like 2 years old kid who was jumping in excitement.... Bani was more expressive and he let to take the lead....👍🏼

I agree I think the consummation scene was done well

And aesthetically. I was happy with the way it was done minus the playlist of songs 😆 sharbi set fire to the screen they have so much potential but the poor editing

And writing does let them down. Also I didn’t like the way people compared the shakura scene to veer. Shakura was looking at her in a very sleazy manner and then his actions after that weren’t cool. Here cheelu was mesmerised by his wife and then averted his gaze.

Jai was firmly put in his place and I was WAITING for this. Everytime bani was like my husband and I know him. I loved it. And the part where she says she didn’t know how to forgive him but she did. At that point I got a hint of how hurt bani was by him. Shame makers won’t explore that. I’m Not sure what he is doing by helping them- does he think his plan won’t work or does he want bani indebted to him and ask her to repay the favour. Not sure. But I think with his new look he will have a proper role again.

You know the bugger needs more than just being put into place. He deserves to be dropped into a hell pot, picked out of it, and dropped in again.😆
the next track which I think is the final track is why bani and veer are meant to be together. And what are the consequences of their union so a clash of satyug and Kalyug- who knows we might see the extent of their powers and also get a bit of revenge. Lord knows
I don't really know that we are anywhere near the finale, but I also know that they will explore some other random sea princessy kind of stuff and not show us what we want.

As I mentioned I do think the editing and everything else was a let down. They just seemed to be in a rush to pack everything in and i was like shouldn’t have include this track at all.

Also I do hope Ballu has woken up and will do something but I’m not going to hold my breath. I would love to see bani and veer scenes post this. How their relationship evolves and gets stronger. The focus will be on their relationship and how they face the challenges like you said. There will be consequences for all of this and big revelations I think.

But overall I do think that Mukta listened to us in the sense of we got Vani progression. Yesterday I finally understood that she’s also Mrs sanki - not as bad as her husband but she is and will do anything for him. That is what I wanted to see. So thank you for that mukta.

Well, not as sanki as Cheel Singhania in my opinion. Just that, I don't like Bani's character overall.
also chandini was annoying as a character they’ve tried to make her Mayuri 2.0 but failed. Hope she’s going to wrap up soon. The hair swishing and twirling was annoying!

Coming to the episodes, its almost like am watching an episodic series. Every week a new track, leaving the previous week's track incomplete! I think they should play a disclaimer, 'The Story of this week has no possible connection to the previous week'

If maarkaat was controlling Veer, where did chaand came into picture? What was there was someone else who could have gotten possessed, still he/she would have flung to chaand I can come up with trolling list right now, for the two episodes! Thank god the focus in currently on VaNi!

VAni progression came in too late, Bani's character lacks depth and so does her feelings, because they haven't developed the "love" which they are showing. It is so sudden. I did not enjoy it too much

Also, Wasn't maarkaat supposed to kill bani with veer's help? What was the whole point of this hypnosis? Sometimes I sympathize with myself for watching the show!

Well, does this "sympathy" club have a free pass for me. Really, need it bro!😆

Saturday's Episode:

It was horribly edited but amazingly performed!

Veer's on and off hypnosis is confusing AF!Balwant was on cloud 9 thinking about bani's downfall! Was he really aakesh's father? The man who could die at the hands of his lady love just to fulfill her wish will go against her to an extent of killing her, yeah right? No wonder chandrakala kept on playing him for so many years! I loved how they subtly incorporated VaNi to be equals again in the bedroom conversation! Though, I wished bani to be more sensitive towards Veer, but he was not ready to listen at all! I have always admired this quality of VaNI! They are always equal! No one verbally puts down the other and neither of them take each other's shit! Maybe one of the very very few ITV couples are established like this! All the vices of N5 aside this is one thing they kept atleast consistent!

Supporting cast are just lame overall, as the writing is rubbish.

I liked the candle scene! The apology wasn't very effective to me either! No doubt the regret was very genuine but over-all it didn't seem veer type regret! Upar upar se laga muzhe! But again dialogues here were good!

Honestly, I don't care for Veeranshu's regret. What he did was not in his control. What Bani did up till now, was completely under her control. She was not coerced into anything. Bani had a stupid revenge and vigilante angle going on, which is yawn-worthy. And her repentance held no ground or impact. And her love just comes across as lacking depth, because well, ye zoom express pe love ho raha hai

'Tumhe pata hai na, tum mere liye kya ho bani, apni jaan hateli pe liye ghumta hu tumhara liye mei' The conviction with which veer says thiss!!! Uff!Am still curious, what the gift is!

The date was outta place! Definitely! I expected a bit of conversation too in the date! It was all romance and antaakshri! Though, the nuances were good! I feel SharBhi convey a lot through eyes these days!

It was all hormones yaar, they need more meaningful conversations for adding more depth in their relation. The sexual pull is always higher than the emotional pull. The emotional pull is needed b/w a husband and wife.

Unlike popular opinion, I didn't feel a bit that veer was possessed or anything! He has always been like this!

Weird and unpredictable!The consummation scene was ofc, not needed, but analysing it, it was beautifully done! The execution sucked bigggg timeeee though!

I could sense, they were holding back at so many points! It was a pure OTT type scene!The sexual tension was off the roof and chemistry was AAGGGG!!!In my opinion the whole sequence was well crafted and beautifully enacted!

Well, Regarding veer's less expressiveness!He was never really waiting as such for her to fall in love with him! He was sure wayyyyy before this that she has fallen for him! So, I don't know where the being surprised part came then! He had expected bani to behave like this! Maybe!I moreover felt he was letting bani take the lead her! Making her comfortable by not intimidating her! But yeah, I expected more emotional but it seemed more physical! But as you have mentioned, when in the back of our heads we know what's to come, it gets difficult to enjoy even such beautiful scenes! The only thing that could justify this SR is the upcoming track! SR would be the only time bani would have fully submitted to Veeranshu! So this submission will drive her more to bring him back to her! Aur kuch reason muzhe dikh nai rha, yeh itna ghai mei flowers meeting scene krneka

I was not expecting a expression of surprise,but more of happiness since she expressed her feelings, since his insecurity was at its the peak the last episode. So, I guess I expected some more happiness. Overall, Veeranshu is weird for sure.

Sunday's episode:

After samparpan, bani's patni vrata mode is on! Okay I personally feel like rooting for bani FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! Not just because she was head over heels to Veeranshu, but moreover she was thinking and acting like a naagin! She trusted her instinct without anybody's help! That's a huge character development! Its almost parallel to the scene where bani was hypnotized and in jay's arms in the mohini ras episode! Not once Veer doubted her! She repeated the same thing again! I wonder if the hypnosis acts like a drug or something! Veer slept in that state? Strange!

Well, I don't know. But mujhko Bani ka character jamta nahi hai re😆

The whole chaand thing was hilarious!!!! But Veer can fly to outer space!!!! That has to be divine mahn!Chandni felt forced to me!She was wayyy to touchyyy!!! We have trolled Veer's hypnosis million times here, wouldn't talk about it!

I was sick of her sympathetic look as if she's guilty all the time choosing Veer over him! That joda theory gets on my nerves! He's a freakin criminal!I loved how bani drew the line yesterday! Its saddening on mohit's part too! He deserved his own track and storyline too! He's basically doing nothing apart from triggering VaNi's equation! With his new look I hope they give him something substantial as you mentioned!Not his fan as such but him getting lesser screen space to compensate for VaNi's scenes is a bit biasness! But his character is only dependent on VaNi, can't help!

Also, Adi Naagin is literally the only thing keeping you safe from Markaat right now, and then only because of Veer. If Ballu thinks he can succeed at turning Veer against her, then why would Bani protect any of you? Moron.

I've talked about my issues with the eps and the SR etc. elsewhere so won't repeat, but this weekend was all about Bani expressing her love for her Veeranshu, and okay, it had to happen in the most ITV, TRP-tastic way possible but at least it did happen. This weekend belonged to Surbhi, IMO. Sharad was good as always...but this was really Bani's moment to express every emotion we haven't seen from her in so long, and Surbhi nailed every shade, from giddy in love, to hurt betrayal, to utmost faith in and devotion to her husband. I always knew Surbhi had the acting chops for this kind of emotion, and I'm glad the show allowed her to open up in that way.

Surbhi has the acting chops, but the overall character of Bani lacks depth. I don't know her emotions sometimes miss the mark and sometimes hit the right spot for me. Like when she was freaking out because of the Watergate scandal, pun intended, her fear came across to me. But when she was so expressive in love, it did not reach me, because for me it was too sudden.

The apology felt sincere to me, but I do agree it was a bit short...I *think* the idea was to keep us guessing as to whether Veer was playing her or not...so they (as usual) rushed through that aspect of it. If Veer was fully out of hypnotism by that point, he would have reacted much more intensely IMO. But as usual they want to cram a week's worth of eps in two 45-min slots. I said somewhere that this show would have benefited from being a three-dayer at least, to give them some time to lay the tracks in a normal speed.

Apology in ITV sirf naam ke waaste hota hai, kyunki jaisa apology hona chahiye, waisa humko milta hai nahi. Apology should be exhibited in actions for sure, but Bani's sudden love, sudden Savitrigiri has just left me uninterested.

Editing/writing/choreography ke baare mein I won't say anymore because 🤢 SharBhi deserve so much better than this.

The Chandni actress was okay, IMO, but the character was super effing annoying 😡 screeching everywhere and yelling Veeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnshhhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuu every 30 seconds. No idea why she kept twirling her hair around either...they tried to make her Mayuri 2.0 but our Mayuri had a class and swag unmatched by skygirl. Glad she's only a short cameo.

The character is irrelevant and has no purpose in this even more purposeless track

Bani giving it back to Jay was long awaited. Whatever her reasoning for still calling him a friend, she finally drew that boundary between them: you may be my friend, but you have no right to criticise my husband 👏 glad she told him in no uncertain terms where to go with that nonsense.

I feel like Jay must somehow be involved in the moon thing...he suggested the wedding, and Bani presumably would only agree to "marry" him if she thought Veer would find out...so Jay would have to explain how he thinks that will happen...? IDK, but his Hunterwala look certainly implies something about his character arc changing...so I hope we finally get some clarity on that.

Story-wise I don't hold much hope anymore with the show but I enjoyed this weekend's ep purely from a Vani standpoint. We got the progression we wanted in their relationship, and sure, it's been a long time coming, but at this point, I feel there's no use crying over spilt milk. Jaise bhi mila, kam se kam mil toh raha hai...that's how I feel, anyway 😊
