Chapter 13

"My nights aren’t that painful anymore. I have friends who need me. And I’m curious about what kind of future we’ll be spending together. I look forward to it. They give me joy. I know you’re no longer with me, Vansh. But, I’m going to embrace my yearning heart. And I’ll continue to live my life" thinks Ridhima standing at her balcony and absorbing the cool night breeze with a bandage on her nose.

"Sher: If you have the guts to die, you should try your best to stay alive.

I'm not here to jump, Sher,"

says Ridhima with a pout on her face

"Since that day, I always feel you're going to jump from the rail,"

says Sher by glaring Ridhima

"From now onwards, I promise you that I'm going to live for myself, It's my life,"

says Ridhima with a smile on her face.

"Are you happy, Ridhima?"

asks Sher making her twitch her eyebrows.

Ridhima takes a moment,

"I can do this, everything will be fine. I kept telling myself that and tried hard. But the truth is, my life always felt so burdensome. And living my life based on hatred was difficult.”

Sher: I bet you had a tough time.

Ridhima: Yes, it was tough.

Sher: Ridhima, you can overcome anything, as long as you're alive. I mean it."

Both get lost in the sea breeze where suddenly Ridhima asks,

"You know a lot of things about me. However, I don't know anything about you. I know you said I should don't ask you, but I think we have come so far that, you can tell one or two things about you."

"What is that you want to know about me?"

asks Sher

"Anything,"

says Ridhima excitedly.

Sher pulls her inside and close the windows and get adjust himself on the couch,

"you will hate once you hear about me, Ridhima,"

says Sher

"Everything with me is either worship and passion or pity and understanding. I hate rarely, though when I hate, I hate murderously"

says Ridhima with a glare in her eyes

Sher chuckles,

"I'm a criminal, Ridhima. There are crimes of passion and crimes of logic. The boundary between them is not clearly defined. So I don't know how to define myself,"

says Sher by looking into the Wine floor underneath the couch.

"I don't know the wine floor exists in my room,"

says Ridhima

"Enjoy the life you have, then you can see many things in this room,"

says Sher by pulling out a wine from the wine board.

Ridhima looks at Sher who is pouring alcohol in his glass,

"Is it very hard to live such a life? I mean killing everybody and nobody. Being a baddie and all?"

"It depends on whom you are working. With King, it all about good. Yes, I'm not saying innocents weren't dead. They were. But we are happy that we had saved lakhs of people. It's fine. We are not gods to justify and keep everyone happy. No matter how much you try Ridhima, you cannot keep everyone happy. So the best thing you do is, be happy"

says Sher by having the wine in one go.

Ridhima takes a moment and asks,

"Can I meet the Man?"

Sher sighs,

"It depends on him Ridhima. Malik couldn't even meet him after working for 20 years. So meeting him would be his choice. But, I don't why I feel very soon you will meet him."

"Sooner in sense, 20 years?"

asks Ridhima

Sher chuckles and says,

"More or less"

by receiving a punch from Ridhima

"You know right, no one ever dared to hit me like that?"

says Sher

"Then get habituated Sher, I'm going to do it from now,"

says Ridhima by giving another punch in return both splits in laughter.

VR Mansion: -

Vansh is lost in his thoughts regarding King. He somehow feeling these days he is under the radar of the Man. Whatever is happening right now in his life, somewhere he feels it is all related to the Man himself.

Angre checks Vansh before going to bed every day and today he sees him lost in his thoughts,

"Anything important Bhai, you're not in the world,"

asks Angre

“His name is not known while his business to know what other people do not know,"

says Vansh while looking out of the window.

"Is it about the Man, bhai?"

asks Angre

Vansh nods his head and still lost in his thoughts; While Angre tries to leave the room, yet, he turns back and says,

"You're doing that crazy mastermind thing again?

Vansh: Which crazy mastermind thing?

Angre: Where you talk to the other masterminds and one of you leaves something unsaid, and the other knows what that thing is without asking”

Vansh looks at him with a smirk on his face yet covered by worry.

"I feel we are under the radar of The Man. I can fee it. I need to know why we are?"

"Shall I send my team to know more about him?"

asks Angre

"Your men will be dead. As said, no one cannot know him until he wants to reveal. Something is happening which we are unable to see properly"

says Vansh

"Bhai, you are worried?"

says Angre

"Indeed, Angre. Because this time my enemy is invisible. He sits motionless, like a spider in the centre of its web, but that web has a thousand radiations, and he knows well every quiver of each of them."

says Vansh

"But bhai we agreed to go on his cruise. At that time what we are going to do?"

asks Angre

"We need to be extra careful. Because though we are going to enter his den, the truth is he is invisible. So make sure we have everything under control before we set on that voyage. Also, check with his team how many days is this trip going to be?"

says Vansh while Angre takes his leave.

(After 3 weeks)

It has been three weeks since Ridhima is training extensively. What they never thought is she has it in her blood. The way Ridhima can catch any move with observance is making everyone awe of her. Ridhima is like, she is a good doctor but the way her mind is working these days making her feel like a Genius.

What she doesn't know is the team has already noticed her being the female version of the King. The way she is thinking these days and giving solution it been the same way when they first were part of his team and he guided them how to think in that way.

The whole team knows Kingmaker doesn't have any family or friends. Then how Ridhima is so replicable to him? They cannot say she is like him because Ridhima uses the heart but, the way she fights and using her brain tech field is completely copy paste. As if, as if, The Judge as taken the female disguise and making fool of them.

"Sher, you're the first one who got recruited by The Major himself. In these past 15 years do you ever felt he is somehow related to Ridhima?"

asks Tarzan

"No, Tary. Never. Yes, I know Ridhima as much you all know. Over and above I never saw him being possessive about any other person in the entire world."

says Sher

"We are missing something here. I don't know why but I want to know more"

says Aliza

All the three looks at her as if she has gone mad saying that and Aliza realizes her mistake but by then she has heard his voice,

"Lizy come into my room"

making others worry for her.

Since the moment she has entered she doesn't know what to say. She knows he has heard what she told to the gang. She is always a daring kill who aims to kill the others. Howbeit, when it comes to the matter of Monarch, she feels helplessness.

"I heard that you want to know something, Lizzy,"

asks The Architect.

Aliza knows she cannot lie to him because once you lie to him, then that becomes his or her doom's day. Taking a deep breath,

"These days we feel a lot of similarities between you and Ridhima. So out of curiosity thought to know what's the relation you share with her?"

says Aliza in one deep breath.

With a smile on his face, the Debt Collector raises from his chair,

"You know what I like about my team, they never lie to me, no matter whether the truth might hurt them."

"However, as you want to know, let me tell you this, Lizzy. What if I tell you, Riddhu and I share the same blood but not the same parents. We both are copy-paste version of each other but in different genders. Riddhu and I are two sides of a single coin"

says The Informant with a deadly smirk on his face.

Aliza understood he revealed what they all know. Howbeit, she cannot ask more questions. So she looks into his eyes,

"Understood, Lord,"

says Aliza. While she is trying to leave the room the Pharmacist pulls her towards him,

"I know you have 1000 questions in your mind, Lizzy. But, your life has a limit, but knowledge has none. If you use what is limited to pursue what has no limit, you will be in danger"

says the debt collector with darkness empowering from his eyes.

VR Mansion: -

Everyone in the family is present at the breakfast table whereas Dr Malike walks in,

"With today I'm done with my job, Mr Vansh. Rest my student on the cruise will take care"

says Malik with a smile on his face.

"On the cruise? Wait, we didn't get any date from the Architect yet"

says Angre

"Well, Mr Angre be ready because he is going to send one soon. I have updated about your sister to him and he agreed to allow his doctor for your sister"

says Dr Malik while leaving Vansh worried for Sia more.

"How could you share about my sister details with an unknown man Dr Malik,"

asks Vansh

"Mr Vansh, here we are speaking about a man who knows everything more than anyone in the world,"

says Malik while continuing,

"So watch your words. You never know what might happen next second, Mr Vansh,"

says Malik with anger evident in his voice and eyes. At the time same time, the helper in the house gives Angre a colorful envelope exiting Dr Malik from the VR Mansion

"What is it, Angre?"

asks Vansh

"Bhai, a week from here we all need to enter the special cruise belong to the Man at 6 PM sharp. We need to board to the cruise at Bombay port"

says Angre while eyeing Vansh who is beaming with anger.

Vansh turns at his family on the table,

"Everyone, for now, all of you pack things for a month. Rest we will see how it goes. However, be careful with whatever you do and say on the cruise especially while speaking with the Stewmaker's team. One wrong move you are dead and trust me I cannot even help you guys from his team and his radar"

says Vansh with authoritative tone yet everyone can see the underlining danger he is indicating towards.

"What about Sia?"

asks Dadi

"Dr Malik said about his student. Let's see what she or he will do with Sia. However Dadi, I promise you, the moment I see any danger from any side, I'm there to protect the whole family"

says Vansh while hugging Dadi.

Ridhima had never seen so many people on the board. It has been a month she is here yet she had never seen people working as robots as if something huge is going to happen. With questions in her mind, she reaches to the lunch table while the rest four already present.

"What's going on?"

asks Ridhima

"In a week the whole cruise is going to fill with different Dons from the world,"

says Tarzan

"Dons?"

questions Ridhima

"Yes, like leaders from India, Singapore, China, etc., like that. For the first time, King has opened the gates of the cruise for others"

replies Tarzan

"So, are you saying he is ready to face the world?"

asks Ridhima making everyone dumbfounded

"Ridhima, never disrespect him,"

says Sher while continuing

"Well, for now, we have no idea whether he would present himself before the world or not. However, yes, he is going to make sure to spend some time with everyone. Now, how he is going to do it, it depends on him"

says Sher leaving confused

While Ridhima lost in her thoughts the rest of the team looks at each other faces and feel how to say the truth to Ridhima. While Ridhima notices their faces and asks to say,

"Ridhima, India Mafia is handled by Vansh Rai Singhania. He will be on the cruise with his family and also Lord has ordered you to take care of his sister Sia"

says Sher without meeting her eyes.

Ridhima is speechless after so many days. Vansh on the cruise? She tries very hard to move away from him and in a week he will be on the cruise, and I will be the one who should treat Sia? How I can do that? shivers Ridhima with those thoughts while Aliza immediately hugs her and calms her down.

"Ridhima, calm down,"

says Richie

"How can I? I'm okay to be on the same cruise but treating Sia, No, that cannot be done"

shouts Ridhima and gets up from her chair

Sher is the first one to reach out to her,

"What is that you fear, Ridhima. Losing yourself again? I know you cannot move on in a month, but what is that you have learned? You said you will play with heart and my foot, is this how we trained you? Such a coward who is afraid to face her past? You have disappointed us Ridhima"

says Sher leaving her hands and making her fall back on the couch.

"Enough, Sher"

shouts Richie and reaches to her side. He hugs her and while cajoling he says,

"Every next level of your life will demand a different version of you, Ridhima. When Vansh sees you, he also might feel he has power on you. But tell me Ridhima, who has power in your life?"

"It's me,"

says Ridhima meekly.

"Then why are you going backwards? A month ago you don't know us. We were not present when you were hurt. But now we are with you Ridhima. You don't need us to face him. However, if you need us, we will stand beside you and face Vansh. Howbeit, it is you to make sure not to give in to him"

says Aliza by kneeling before her and comforting her while pressing her hands over Ridhima.

Sher goes to level while pulls her towards him,

"Some people feed on your misery. That is why they want to be close to you. They might act as they care, but they are here to boost their selfish ego when you fail. They will never give you a solution but are always pointing to your problems and obstacles to stress and scare you. Vansh or Kabir belongs to that genre right now where they want to feed on your misery. Don't give them any chance Ridhima. I know it won't be easy but try. We are with you"

says Sher while Ridhima puts her head on his shoulders leaving others distraught with the thoughts of Vansh Rai Singhania.

King is watching everything from his cabin. He knew this is how his Riddhu is going to react, yet, he wants to play this game because this is how he is going to make her strong. He doesn't want either Kabir or Vansh in Riddhu's life until she wanted them to be part of her life. However his thoughts get broken by the call and he receives it,

"Yes, Malik,"

says the Badshah

"Ridhima mind levels are changing,"

says Dr Malik

"I know,"

says the Architect

"Yet, you're not worried about her,"

says Dr Malik

"Malik, I'm the only person in the world who worries for her. I know what going to happen next. Let it happen. Also, don't concern yourself with Riddhu anymore. She is with me. Apart from me, nothing in the world can hurt until I give my orders or Ridhima give the power to hurt her"

says the King and cuts the call.

"Riddhu, very soon I'm going to meet you. Let's see whether will you able to identify me or not as your brain cells can break the wall I have built" laughs King while Ridhima image stuck on the TV screen.
