It doesn't matter whether you love your partner or not, after living with someone for 25years, you can surely understand their facial expressions. You might not understand what's going on in the person's mind or what they feel but it will be clearly evident on the face so I think Vanraj noticing that body language is absolutely normal.

Someone doesn't have to care or love to understand the body language. You can notice even strangers feeling nervous, happy, sad etc..then Vanraj has lived in the same house with Anu for this long, so him figuring out that something is fishy is very much possible. Also, he knows very well how Rakhi is so he was already in that doubt state of mind and Anu's silence made it clear.

It was a very unfortunate transition shown onscreen, given that she had strongly stood against him the moment she found out about the EMA, called him 'Uncle' instead of Papa and encouraged Anu to drive despite resistance from Toshu. Totally inconsistent with the Kinjal we knew and loved!

Vanraj waltzing in and out is annoying to me too. Him understanding Anu in this case is a given tho, coz he knows Anu for 25 years now and has seen enough of Rakhi's nature to figure she is as straight as a jalebi.

Yup seems like that's a drastic character change for Kinjal. First she chose to agree with Toshu to marry after running away and then hell lot of stupidity. Just that she has been good to Anupama so far.

I get her love for Toshu made her take that drastic step. Accepted.

Love for Anu makes her listen to her even if personally Kinju disagrees with Baa. Somewhat theek hai.

Trying to impress all in-laws, including calling Vanraj "Pappa" - unneccessary, since even Toshu has started to maintain a distance from that person
