"dad called" Shravan hurriedly entered the drawing room and nearly screamed

"Ansh called too" Anu said grabbing the popcorn

"So?" Shran asked confused

"So I thought we were telling each other who called"

"Please Ananya, this is serious" He rolled his eyes

"What happened" Ruhi handed him the coffee mug and sat on the sofa

"Vansh Rai Singhania happened" Shravan gritted his teeth in despair

"Who's he?"

"He's a businessman, more of a tycoon" He answered

"What's with you today? Telling us your dad called and discussing business" Ananya chuckled

"The thing is" he paused as he saw Ridhima coming

"What?"

"Dad wants me to get married to his sister" He completed.his sentence

"Who's sister?" Ridhima asked

Shravan gave her a look of "you-know-who"

"Some Singhania" Ruhi informed

"What that's not possible, she's already married." Ridhhima said in disbelief

"You know him? You even know his sister.. what else we don't know?" Ananya asked eyeing Shravan

Shravan conveniently ignored her

"No the other one" he told Ridhima

"The other one?"

"Sia" Shravan informed

"Sia" Ridhima whispered "Sia is.. Sia is fine, she's back?" Ridhima choked on her words

"I can't take it anymore, they hid everything from us" Ananya said and left from there, Ruhi following her.

"I can understand" He caressed her arms

"So that means.."

"He knows it wasn't you" Shravan sighed

"He told my dad, his parents are dead. Dad was telling me he lives with his sisters, his uncle's family and his Dadi" Shravan added

"So" Shrvan twitched his lips

"That is why he's back, that's why he said he was finding me" Realisation dawned upon her

"How cheap of him, I am sure he's using his sister to get back to me, and I thought he at least loved his sisters" Ridhima scoffed

"What makes you say tht? I mean I don't understand why would he get me married to her? He's still not getting you back" Shravan said confused

"He thinks, we have something between us, I know that man Shravu, he doesn't love me, it's his ego telling him to get me back" Ridhima closed her eyes trying to stop the tears.

"Ridhhu, he can never use me as a bait to trap you, trust me, I won't let him win this ugly game, if you hate him I hate him, that's the rule okay?" Shravan gave her a wide smile. Ridhma smiled back

"Wait" ridhima said all of a sudden.

"you said he lives with his sisters and dadi and chachi what about his wife?" Ridhima asked

"As far as I know, he's.. married but.." he stopped scratching his head. He unlocked his phone and texted someone.

Ridhima waited impatiently for him to look at her and complete his sentence.

"Oh" he exclaimed

"He's not living with a partner"he said

"So he even divorced her" Ridhima chuckled

"He's married" he said again

"What?"

"It says, he's married but his wife left him" he looked at her

"Poor lady, or kya krti, ese insaan k sath reh b kon sakta h" She rolled her eyes

"You're being too harsh." He raise his brow

"After all that happened? Nah" she threw her hand in the air

"Okay this is not about him but me, what do? dad even invited them over dinner, and I can't take you there, how will I face this alone" Shravan acted like weeping

"Take Ananya, make an excuse and cancel the proposal" Ridhima crossed her arms and gave him a look

"You're right" he said looking at the floor and smiled.

"Bhai, Apne achanak se Sia k rishte ki baat krdi, puch to lete sabse" Ishani said

"Puchna kya h Ishani, ladka acha h, family achi h or wese bhi abhi sirf Milne jana h" Vansh said buttoning his shirt

"Beta, Teri shadi b to isne he karayi the na, us waqt tujhe sab galat lg raha tha.. ab dekh tu kitti khush hai" Dadi entered the room

"Nahi dadi" Ishani looked at her and then at her brother who was engrossed in making his tie "meri shadi bhai ne nhi, Riddhima ne karai the" she completed

"Ridhima hoti to shayad m itti pareshan na hoti" She sat there with her hand on her head

"Really? Tum nafrat krti the usse" Vansh turned to face her, amused.

"Tum to apni bhabhi Tak nhi manti the use, to ab ye bate kese kr leti ho tum?" Vansh said rudely trying to control his anger

"Mai bhabhi nhi manti the par aap to biwi mante the na, aapne to shadi ki the na.. aap to so called pyar krte the na usse? Jab aap use nhi smjh paye to mjhse kese umeed kr skte h aap?" Ishani screamed to match his voice

"Shaant ho jao please shaant ho jao, hme waha Jana to hai na Ishani, tum jao Sia ko or khud ko ready kro" Dadi ordered ending the fight that was about to happen. In last one year she had seen them both fighting, Ishani blaming Vansh for throwing Ridhhima out after she got to know Ridhima saved her and her child's life. And on the other hand Vansh thought Ishani was also a reason who helped him abandon Ridhima.

"Tum kya gayi, is ghar k rishte bikhar gye, khushiya chali gai" dadi moved towards the side of bed and picked up her picture still kept there

"Par ab khushiya darwaza khat khata rahi h na dadi" Vansh hugged her from behind

Dadi smiled forcefully and patted his cheek.

"Sab khush ho jaenge vansh, par tu? Mai ganpati bappa se roz bolti hu ki wo tujhe teri khushiya dede" she sobbed

"Bus to esa samajhye apke bappa ne sun li apki" he smiled and stared at Ridhima's photo frame in her hand.

"Bhai" Angre knocked his room

"Tumne pata kia na Angre?" Vansh raised his brow

"actually" he looked down

"What?"

"I was keeping an eye on their house and Shravan left with a girl who's not bhabhi. He's on his way to home" Angre said stressed. Vansh frowned.

"Mr. Singhania you have a taste in good wine" The old man complimented pouring wine into his glass.

"Aapki behen bhot achi lagi hme" His wife looked at Sia and smiled

"Mom, why don't you marry her then?" Shravan said with a straight face.

Everyone stopped eating and looked at him.

"Hahahha, guys.. he's he's just being.. funny" Ananaya said trying to cover up for his stupidity.

"Yeah" Shravan sighed and got back to eating

"Mr. Singhania, ye to bache aapas m decide kr he lenge but.. what about the deals we talked about earlier" Mr. Rathod asked

"Mr. Rathod, didn't I make myself clear? If you want the cruise deal and fundings from me in your new project Nd of course my sister, you have to invite that girl to the dinner" He spoke grabbing the drinking and stating at Shravan who was sitting exactly opposite to him.

Shravan dropped the fork and looked at him, rage plastered on his face

"She can't come" he spat "I'm not using my friend for a stupid project" he gritted his teeth "I don't care if you lose the deal" he looked towards his dad and announced

"So is this about a girl?" Ishani said amused

"Why dont you ask your brother, he won't leave her alone" Shravan answered her. She gasped turning her face to her brother

"You are interested in a woman?"

"Vansh, ye kya sun rahi hu m" dadi asked

"And he used Sia for it? Just wow" Aryan chuckled

"Mr. Singhania.. don't worry she's on her way" Mr. Rathod gulped scared of looking towards his son

"What the" Shravan stood up

"See, we've done enough for her this year, we gave her a new life, least she can do.." his dad started explaining

"Dad you called her?" He punched the table slightly

"What is wrong Sharavan, Ridhima often comes here" Ananya said casually not getting the point of the fiasco

"Ridhhima?" Nearly everyone seated on the table gasped, whispered, trying to contemplate when a sweet voice cheered the room

"Mai agai uncle" she said breathless

"Wtf why are you breathless" Shravan Poured water in the glass and went towards her

"Actually.." she said still trying to catch her breath

"Doctor specifically told you not to do extensive exercise or run" Ananya added glaring her. Ridhima pressed her hands in between hers and quipped a quick sorry.

"Dadi" Ridhima said as she finished drinking water ignoring her two caring friends

The old woman was almost crying, not beliveng what she saw

"Mera bacha" she stuttered

"Kaha kaha mannat nhi mangi mene" she choked on her own words

"Dadi, jhapi paa lo" she hugged dadi tightly

"What's going on?" Ananya scratched her head and asked Shravan

"If you can wait I can explain" He whispered.

"Bhabhi" Sia stood up from chair and went towrds her

"Okay here are the rules" Shravan stood in between her and Ridhima, looking intensely into her eyes. Sia blinked away the tears and nodded "she's either Ridhima or Ridhima, no one calls her bhabhi" he streched his smile enough to convey his sarcasm

"She's my.." Sia started but was cut by Ridhima shocking the Rai Singhanias

"Sia, I think he's right" she politely said attracting a glare from vansh. He was restless.

"You are hail and helathy, I am so glad" she looked at her from head to toe and hugged her

"I miss you" Sia confessed

"I missed you too" Ridhima said, Vansh didn't fail to notice the past tense. She really doesn't anymore?

"Ridhima" chachi has hugged her now and she went on to side hug Aryan "You look weird in beard" she has told him and he laughed "I'm growing them for a event" he smirked

"What event?" "The event called repulse girls so you remain bachelor all your life" he winked and she laughed leaving the brother sister duo the only people she didn't bother interacting with considering Angre was not present.

"So? Uncle, you said it's very important" Ridhima asked as she came back to sit beside Sharavan, Vansh glared them both. With his thumb on temple and fore finger pressing on the forehead he tried very hard to not lose his temper.

"Actually Mr. Singhania would only deal with us if you.." His dad cleared his throat and started speaking

"We don't want this deal dad" Shravn cut him

"Let him complete" Ridhima pressed his hands making vansh tight press his teeth together to not burst out any moment.

"Since you're the face of the project, he wants to work with you, if you can spare some of your time and join his office for a few months.." His dad nervously finished

"Even Ananya is a part of it, why not her, if you don't mind Mr. Singhania, Ridhima is not very accoustomed to the big bad world, yet." Shravan scoffed

"Yeah, I will do it, she's still not out of trauma" Ananya who was pressing her shoulder and standing beside her spoke, concern visible on her face.

"Trauma?" Ishani asked sadly

"Yeah, it's a long story" Ridhima dryly replied, avoiding her. Ishani gulped realising she doesn't have a right to question her or even expect a hug from her.

"I will need you both then, you can be with her if she's not comfortable" Vansh answered brieflu smiling at Ananya. He was angry and annoyed, but he was happy finally there were people who cared about her, oh not the guy sitting over there, he already started hated him.

"Dad, it's not happening" Shravan wiped his face with tissue and casually told his father

"This is very important for us Shravu, at least think about it" His dad begged in a low tone

"I said what I said" he sighed shufting his gaze to his left

"How much this is important for you and the company?" Ridhima asked holding his gaze

"Not as important as you" He chuckled

"I know, but answer me, if it has been anyone else.."

"But it's not" he cut her

"I'm not a coward, you don't trust me" Ridhima went too close to his face and whispered in lowest of her voice, inaudible to rest of them

But watching them this close,

Vansh froze. His anger vanishing and hurt overpowerig his soul. His soul wept and eyes gave away his emotions. Is she doing this to hurt him? Or has she moved on to be this close to someone? He chose the former to calm his heart but a part of it was breaking as if she stabbed him in his heart merely by not looking at him, by not giving him his attention.

"I will do this" she announced. Shravan kept quiet, constantly glaring her

"Thank you beta" His dad smiled

"Fine. Jo Krna h kro" He made a face

"I hope you know, whoever works for me, I mean closely, has to stay.." Vansh started with a smirk but was cut by Ridhima

"No Mr Singhania, I can't stay in a strangers house under the constant watch of men whose intentions I am not aware of" She said in a breath, very rudely, Dadi flinched, hurt that her own daughter in law doesn't feel safe there anymore.

"But If she must, I will be with her" Shravan smirked, something going on in his mind

She narrowed her eyes at him "No" she told him

"Then it's deal" Vansh said hurriedly, sensing she might change the decision.

"What? No" Ridhima said still looking at Shravan

He moved closer to her and whispered "trust me" annoying vansh more

"If you two have a lot to talk, why even sit and dine with us" He sarcastically said

"We didn't want to, can't you conclude it's forced?" Sharvan asked surprised, this man has not yet given up?

"I think we were to talk about Sia's marriage" Chanchal said trying to ease the tension in the room

"Since Shravan will be with us, we have a lot of time to decide" Vansh smiled cunningly

"But on weekends we won't work, and we can go wherever we want to" Ananya spat realising she has a boyfriend to spend time with

"Agreed" vansh said, making her face lit up.

Ridhima didn't want to, She was a different person now, but her heart would ask her to just take a look of him. Just look at him once. Ridhim brushed aside her thoughts and concentrated on the dessert. She took the bowl and started serving herself the halwa, ignorant.

She took a spoon and started to taste it.

"Don't eat it" Vansh snapped

Her eyes lifted towards the sound and their eyes locked. His dark eyes gave away his emotions, his hurt and above all his love for her. 'its all a mirage' she thought but couldn't let go of the gaze she was holding. She was intrigued. Has she not looked into these eyes numerous times? Getting lost in them when she didn't want to, his eyes scanning her in their bed room, and fixed to hers in the mirror when he stood behind her and tied her blouse dori or zipped her gown.

"It has raisins, you're allergic to them" Ananya said bringing her back to the world, an uncomfortable feeling spreading over her body. She picked up the raisins and kept it in Shravan's plate in a reflex, Vansh grinned, nostalgia taking a toll on him, except that it used to be his plate.

"Who will eat your raisins if not me?" Shravan winked at her and for slightest of mini seconds she looked at him who was looking at her already. Scared of she might get lost in those eyes and he might manipulate her again, she hurriedly shifted her gaze to her plate.

'this is gonna be interesting' Sia lifted her eyes midways and moved her eyeballs to look at eveyone seated on the table, silently eating.
