Makers discouraging legal action - speaks volumes.

I'm speaking from a point of view of legal experience. Not as a lawyer but high-ranking paralegal and also a former corporate PR agent. (corporate PR, not entertainment, but still - some transferable knowledge is there)

Lets start with a simple disclaimer: I am not a Rubinav/Abhinav/Rubina fan. In fact, I've found Abhinav super boring & pointless (albeit, at least decent on the surface), and Rubina super annoying so far.

Still, the narrative that Salman (aka - the makers sending instructions in his ear) clearly tried to place the blame partly on Abhinav today was absolute bullshit. I don't care if there was truth to Kavita's accusations. Point is - Abhinav did not exacerbate the situation like Salman alluded. Vikas brought up the situation. Abhinav simply defended himself and his wife. He was entirely within his rights to say everything he said - including plans to take legal action.

"The women are getting screwed because the men are immature and impatient?" F--k off! There was one man who was immature and impatient and that was Ron(?). Kavita was being incredibly difficult to have a straight conversation with with her many her unwillingness to listen to the other side and using conversational tactics to sway the narrative ("Rubina, ap kyun guilty lag rahe ho? Shayad you know your husband is capable of something?") Abhinav did nothing wrong - neither morally (in my opinion) nor legally (from my experience).

I don't know why the hell BB makers to discourage Abhinav from going the legal route. Maybe because they had pre-decided that Abhinav was wrong for the storyline. Maybe because they are worried about the show's involvement in legal proceedings. Or maybe because they genuinely believe what Salman said. Either way - I really hope Abhinav/Rubina get out of the show and take legal action because Kavita's insinuations 100% count as defamation. What Salman said today has absolutely no legal grounds and at all, and just because he kept bringing up zabardasti ka relationship/romantic involvement "Baby what are you doing tonight?" even though Kavita kept stressing the violence angle is meaningless.

I don't particularly like either of them - but time and time again Rubina and Abhinav have shown me in the show that they do not get swayed by the makers' half-assed narratives and justifications. They know the game. Their quiet embrace after the segment in the changing room proved to me that there was doubt of intention of bitterness between the two. I sincerely hope Abhinav hits this couple of snakes with a defamation lawsuit - if he is guilty he will lose, but if what he is saying is true then 100% he will win & it will be a slap in the face for defamation attempts from BB. BB needs to understand lies have practical implications and the law of the land stands above contractual agreements, even in cases of declaration, if the judiciary system seems fit.

Exactly what I thought. Classic case of “maamla rafaa dafaa karna”. Kyu bhai? The allegations against him are serious and as Abhinav said, they’ve connected those messages and that one statement of “laafa maarna” (which in itself was in retaliation) to his behaviour being violent?! Why would someone in public eye not consider it defamation and take legal action against it?

I was also clueless to learn that salman put blame on Abhinav too, where as he had no role in this fiasco.

They clearly got scared of legal action. Kavita is a long time friend of Salman. Hence Salman was trying to diffuse the situation by blaming Abhinav as he was talking about court. I am actually glad Abhinav spoke about going to court this shows what he is saying is the actual truth.

how did they stretch it?

I don't understand how there are so many body language experts who are declaring him guilty for some body language which I missed while I was watching his words which were well within the rights of law of land

He has right to remain silent as he said the matter will go to court now and any lawyer would discourage discussion in his absence 👍🏼

Well said! I don't how the host always finds reasons to blame Abhinav n Rubina especially the former.....VG brought the outside gossip when he wasn't supposed to but Abhinav defending his honor is blowing the issue out of proportion as per the host..how? Isn't the guy supposed to discuss this with this wife? If he hasn't done anything, why would he get scared n nt tell her? Had Abhinav kept it to himself, the very self righteous host would have said to Rubina tht your husband is a liar n hiding the truth ....VG was clearly told by BB to say this gossip but as usual when comes to this couple, the plan misfired...

Thanks for sharing. I hadn't seen the tweets yet, but this is more damning that I even imagined based on the episode. 100% this counts as defamation. No doubt about it. BB/Makers/Salman got rattled by the legal threat and neutralized the situation but I truly hope Abhinav hits them with the lawsuit eventually. As a public figure on national TV, saying any of this (if it is untrue as he claims) 100% counts as a clear case of defamation.

Thank you for making this post. I never had any doubt on Abhinav. I'm just waiting for Abhinav-Rubina to take legal action against Ronit Kavita and sue them legally for defamation. That will teach them a lesson. This should happen. Kavita is a vile lady and even her husband is no less. Kavita was not even letting Abhinav-Rubina speak, which proves she is wrong along with her husband. Salman just wrapped it up so that there will be no legal case against Kavita and BB. 🤣

But I sincerely hope Abhinav takes legal action against Kavita and Ronit. They deserve to be sued professionally!
