Yes, she hasn't seen his artistic side, and if I am not wrong, this is the first time she is learning that he was the one to paint all those pictures and draw the sketches? A person working on their piece of art in itself is a wonderful thing to behold, and here she would see him being totally engrossed in the portrait, the range of emotions, the dedication, many shades of the man as he goes through the highs and lows of the process of creation.
Good point about the nightmares. He had them the night of their marriage, but spent the next night awake and crying, I think, and then he moved into their bedroom and has been sleeping soundly ever since (I wonder if that's another reason why he preferred the floor over the bed? The empty space reminds him of his loss and triggers the nightmares?) And yes, it would be nice if Purvi learns more of Shakshi.
I hope the truth comes out, whether it is because Juhi has a change of heart and confesses or because Manas tattles or because of the paint splatter or someone finally asks who had locked Purvi in the study because she obviously didn't do it herself. And I look forward to how V will react to knowing that P took the blame to protect Juhi.
Yes, that's what will happen. Hopefully. She hasn't seen his attachment with Shakshi, except for the scene where he was crying and called the Pur-Vir wedding a samjhota, this will give her a peek of that side of V. The one who is not strict, nor the one who bickers with her, but the one who loves from the depth of his heart, who loves with every fibre of his being. She needs to see that he is capable of that too, and he in turn needs to see that P isn't trying to erase Shakshi and take that place, and he needs to consider, albeit subconsciously, if it would be impossible for both Shakshi and Purvi to have a place in his life and his heart.
She understood the depth of his emotions (perhaps not fully, they still need to know each other a little better for that to happen, but she did understand that it would run deep), that's why she spoke up, to spare Juhi from his wrath. She just didn't get that he would punish her in this manner, and I doubt he would have, if it had been Juhi. He would have scolded the kid and grounded her some more, or something else, but not this. He chose this punishment for Purvi and her alone, because he thought she was trying to establish herself in Shakshi's place. This is his way of reinforcing the words he had said to her the day he told her she was a Molki dulhan.
