If half of us , those that have any vacay days that are getting wasted, have the courage to turn on that out of office pop, not feel guilty to do that even when you are not going on any vacation now, that would be a huge first step in itself. Sometimes even vacays end up being stressful. I feel this year end is probably the best to utilize any time off one's eligible for to enjoy a real vacay doing whatever please them. Hope the next three weeks are light for you Nisha.
So true, Kalpana. I have worked from home before. Never this stressful. Many of the attitude change is also a reflection of the COVID situation ☹️

A man knocked on the room door

“Thank you” he nodded sitting up
“Ma is returning Friday”

“Do you want to come home for dinner sometimes?”
“Thought you would never ask” he stood up too, and hugged her, they stayed touching for a few minutes
“I will text the driver and also text you his number, he should be outside”
She nodded, picking up her bag and shoving her papers and laptop
“Rakshit and Lekha are going out to dinner when she is in town soon, do you want to go?”
That line brought her back to earth with a giant thud
“Umm… I..(don’t think so) umm.. I can try” she said politely
“Viveka” he waited for her to wrap her powercord and stuff it in

“Its fine if you don’t want to, we don’t have to pretend we like something if we truly don’t” he smiled mischievously
“I was going to say no… but I didn’t want to be childish and dismiss even before Ive tried, like the kid and palak analogy” he laughed turning red

Damn it....she is just so honest, it is disarming!! That level of honesty and frankness must mind blowing to anyone, particularly a lawyer who probably sees more of the gray zones of life than any other profession!
I love the terms....they are focusing on the important stuff 😉
