Attraction & Accounting

A few stolen moments before he takes off. She is already missing him.

Raanav is right that she doesn't need to feel guilty about Abhishek. At first there was nothing to tell. When there was, she did tell him. In between she hardly even saw him. He was pushing her out and making excuses.

I think the universe is definitely trying to tell me something Jas. I am not sure when I will get the courage to step away and say "FINE! I chose MYSELF"

I have to assess my career situation and choose peace of mind. I am sick of the rat race in general. Thankfully I will not become CEO of a Fortune 500 company🤣 so I don't have to make big sacrifices.

SO tired of the BS

Yeah Nisha. I’m getting sick of the rat race as well. I want to avoid negativity and be happy in my own world.

We are not in our prime. Why kill ourself ? Take care of family, health and live happily. If I’m going to get that 10% extra bonus because I worked my a*# off and buttered by boss, boss’s boss, you know what I don’t want that 10%. I used to tout - Don’t follow your dream but chase them and my mantra was aim for the sky and you will reach the treetop. Yes, it got me to where I’m now far from where I started. But I’m tired too

As I age, my attitude has changed quite a bit these days. If I am happy in my home, why do I need treetop 😂. May be it’s the laziness that has crept in 🤣

I feel, the past eight months , Burnout has been a real challenge, more so for us women. If half of us , those that have any vacay days that are getting wasted, have the courage to turn on that out of office pop, not feel guilty to do that even when you are not going on any vacation now, that would be a huge first step in itself. Sometimes even vacays end up being stressful. I feel this year end is probably the best to utilize any time off one's eligible for to enjoy a real vacay doing whatever please them. Hope the next three weeks are light for you Nisha.

Yes, I would think so but it's a tight rope to walk without getting stereotyped.... there's lot of slander one has to manage . You look at something like Gates foundation and one gets the drift. Sigh!!!!

You get stereotyped no matter what you do. You have to rise above it. Not easy but what else can you do?

In a way right! Some of the ways , corporate philanthropy works, I don't think it matters a great deal even if the motive for the causes are entirely altruistic. It would still go a long way towards the cause ... or that what I would like to believe.

Jas and Kalpana you are superduper sweet

YES! The whole "This is for your good only" "I am teaching you for your professional growth" "You have to have stretch goals" "You have to do this tonight, otherwise an asteroid is going to fall on the earth"

"can you make sure you have this ready first thing Monday?"

"how come you dont know A, B C and D that is really relevant for where we are going to go in FY21 as a company" "Are you thinking of every situation and wondering if it is ALIGNED with company strategy?"

I feel like asking... never mind what I feel like asking
