After watching today's episode, I am convinced BB was planning and betting on Rahul being in top 4. One of the challenges Vikas was given was originally meant for Rahul and BB planned Vikas to come only after top 4 was in. No wonder BB was so disappointed when Rahul gave up the task easily and even more disappointed when he decided to leave on his own. BB shot themselves in the foot by letting the task decide finale ticket instead of all votes.

There is no denying he was one of the favorite contestants of the audience this season. Sucks he decided to leave. Would've loved more Rubina vs Rahul faceoffs.

Exactly the way he went as if the goodbye was forced.

Rahul does not have a soft interior, he is a hardcore professional when it comes to work.

To begin with he did not get the kind of success like a la Arjit Singh or Neha Kakkar

He is still struggling even after a decade

Why would he miss the golden opportunity of not being in the final.

This is not a singing contest. Week after week you are getting money for doing absolutely nothing.

My take is they gave him an opportunity via the chair task. Once he lost it, creatives asked him to make a staged exit as they changed the narrative to save Jasmin

However they did want Rahul in the finals but bahu gang took over.

Time and again in every season contestants have requested , pleaded high boss to let them go.. Every single time big boss convinced and even threatened them to stay. Forget about other seasons, Rubinawanted to go this season , high boss so sweetly convinced them to stay.... as they were a part of his plan

But Rahul never was.. he just became the one to beat through the course, hence as soon as they found him vulnerable they manipulated him to exit

Your assessment is bang on. Bigg Boss has always spoken to "candidates under duress" and counselled them to stay. He was put in the spot in front of people and the way Salman asked him the questions "Noone" will argue with Salman thinking that's his wish as people avoid arguing with him.
