Ek toh mujhe yeh suhaagrat ka concept hi samajh nahin aata. It's like everyone is just waiting for you to do it. How awkward. 🤣

Ashwini has been a ROCKSTAR ever since Sai has come to the Chavan House and she's just too adorable. But it's not like she's unaware of the circumstances under which they got married. She knows it's not a love marriage and she also knows Sai is barely an adult. I don't know why the whole room-decoration thing had to be done. I may be in the minority but it just made very uncomfortable. Baaki shows main except for the FL-ML, everyone thinks it's a raazi-khushi shaadi and all that nonsense but everyone knows everything here. Ashwini may not know it's a deal but she still knows it's a majboori ki shaadi. Of course, her intentions are good and she genuinely wants Virat and Sai to be happy but in her good intentions wala josh, I think she is being a tad insensitive to both of them. Aakhir hai toh Virat ki hi Maa, so caught up in doing everything right that didn't spare them a thought 😆

I dunno, maybe I am overthinking but I found this super necessary. What do you all think?

Everything is going in very OTT ITV way right now in terms of drama and the flow of track. I wish they didn’t tease them and do all this Sajawat knowing the circumstances that the marriage happened in. But I think they did it with the intention that maybe sai and virat can have a one on one conversation with each other and ease off on the general awkwardness? ( which does kind of end up happening so that’s good in a way). But I definitely understand that doing all this is not okay so soon. Like I’m sure other than Pakhi , everyone else isn’t expecting them to get romantic or anything 🤣 just look at pakhi’s expression in the precap, she looks shook

@blue - I totally agree! Even I don't get the concept of suhaagraat at all. It's like the entire family giving you the go ahead to do the khaand😆

But after today's episode, I think everything is rushed. When Sai says "Main apne kamre mein khud jaa sakti hoon", Karishma says "Bhabhi, aaj hum aapko akela nahi chodenge". After seeing the arrangements that were made, Sai must be thinking that she should have accepted Karishma's offer🤣

And Ashwini, I think she went overboard this time. She didn't even think about how weird it would be for Sai, technically speaking, she's still a bacchi😆. Even I feel very uncomfortable with the precap.

I hope that it turns into some funny sequence with the usual SaiRat banter.

Also, I don't want Sai to stop Virat from going to Pakhi because she's jealous. That'd be too rushed and idiotic, considering the fact that Virat is impressed with Sai from since the food wala rasam, and Sai is least bothered about Virat until today's episode.

@red i too dont want sai to stop virat due to some wify possessiveness .

And since the household know that the entire marriage is a convinence this first night scene is definitly cringeworthy

@bold even I don't want that at all. She should probably warn him and Pakhi of the repercussions they will face if they continue this nonsense, and how Sai doesn't want to be involved in any of their drama.

I think I've heard too many bizarre Suhagraat rituals that this decked up room andd bed is too pale in comparison🤣

But I agree. This is so cringe😆 Was this why Virat wanted to talk to Pakhi, because of the awkwardness?😆

Getting married was SaiRat decision. So Ashwini won't probably get into much details of it. She will just ensure her responsibilities as a mother & a mother-in-law are fulfilled by completing the rituals and leave them. Rest all they have to plan. 😆

And the decoration in their room seemed to be a part of the wedding reception beautification. Nothing OTT like it's usually shown on ITV. Decorating the beds with flower petals etc. etc. 😆

True that, I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw no rose petals on the bed🤣
