Following that, the duration of training for IPS recruits ranges from 24 months to 2.5 years. It includes a Foundation Course of 3 months at LBSNAA and then two phases of training. First at Hyderabad police academy for 11 months and then about six months of training at the state cadre allocated to the officer (example: Maharashtra cadre, Gujarat cadre, TN cadre). The cut off age is 32. In case the officer is going in for a special combat training, that could be different but then the posting will also mostly be in a special force for which he/she has trained.

Also analysing the family's "awareness" that the two eligible bachelors need suitable 96 Maratha bahus, i do not think he would be more than 28 for a conservative family like that. Samrat could be around 30.

Oh yes. Gulal was brilliant. It's criminal how underrated it is and both Neil and Manasi were just extraordinary.

The other serial is Karol Bagh. He was paired opposite Smriti Kalra. Her character was about 5-6 years older I think. I am not sure, never really watched it regularly.

Good details. I am going to assume he didn't work after graduation and tried for UPSC right after and was top of his batch. 26 seems reasonable to me.
