You mean to say its impossible that he is ACP? No, not really. But they have goofed up a lot of things.

First posting for IPS in a city area would be ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police - it's the fourth or fifth rank from the top and first from the IPS rankings). But given that Gadchiroli is a rural area, it should have been Deputy Superintendent of Police as the first posting. Also, the gorget collar patch with the oak leaf that he is shown wearing is wrong. It is given only to the highest ranking officials like IG and DGP ranks. Lower ranking officials wear similar gorget patches with a straight line (but not until they are at least Senior Superintendent of Police SSP, which takes at least 10 years). The emblem on his shoulder patch is not in the list of IPS insignia in India so its specially for GHKKPM 😆

Add: I'll tell you how😆 Drole is a Scrabble word and I didn't know about ten years ago. So in one game, my then-friend-now-husband and I had a huge arguement over it because he used the word. Have been listening to those taunts till date. 😵
