Akshay Takes On SRK, Salman On Television As Well
Actor Akshay Kumar has jumped into the televsison fray. After taking on the Bachchans and the Khans at the box office, Akshay has now decided to take the competition to television as well. The news is that Akshay will anchor a reality show, which is expected to be launched very soon.
But what has really made news is the fact that the actor will reportedly be paid a whopping, never heard of before Rs 1.5 crore per episode. This is definitely more than what Shah Rukh Khan is getting for his soon to be aired show, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Hain? Even Salman Khan, who is reportedly going to host a reality show for Sony is not being paid that much. Incidentally, this is not the first time that Akshay will be appearing on the small screen. He hosted a martial arts show for National Geographic some years ago. Currently, the reality show that he will be hosting is an Indian version of the show Fear Factor. Knowing Akshay's love for adventure, and dare devil stunts, the show probably suits his image best. The show is expected to roll from August onwards. Akshay has already made inroads into the SRK's overseas territory and is rapidly closing in on the Badshah.
