Why did Bani entrust her family’s safety to Jay???

Like seriously, he himself needs protection and he was given the task of protecting her family, besides that I just don’t understand Bani’s logic, just yesterday she was like she doesn’t trust Jay anymore, pls how does one entrust the responsibility of keeping their loved ones safe with the person they don’t trust at all? Why didn’t she ask Veer to drive her family back as they are his in laws??

Exactly I also did not understand this. In yesterday episode she said she don't trust jay and today she sent her family with jay. How can she trust him again. Again they showed inconsistency in her character.

She herself doesn’t know what she is doing or what she means. Sometimes I think she lacks basic common sense.
