listed few things:

season 1 mein bhi and and 2 mein bhi. am not only talking about doubting kalyani during sampu's incident. but uske innocence saabot hone ke baadh bhi har bar he doubted her intentions and actions jab ki woh ghar mein bait ke uski aur uske bacchi ithni dyaan rakh thi thi then also uski poori family ka bhi and he always doubted her and he still does. so ithne saalon ki journey ka matlab hi kya hai?

kalyani ki galti is her all time mahaanta. kuch bhi hadh se zyaada hota hai tho zeher banjaata hai and kudh ki life ko poision karne lagta hai this is what happening to kalyani.

uski mahaanta koyi gold medal milne wali cheez nay hai, balki kaafi irritating and annoying hai dekhne keliye.

abhi ek cheez aur aad hogayi hai season 2 mein malhaanta ke saat saat anupriya ki tarah chup rehna and kisko jawaab na dena.

agar woh ek bhar awaaz utake yeh saare sawaal kalyani malhar se karti tho woh kudh bhi sochta ki yeh main kya kar raha hoon.

questions she should ask:

swara ke saat jo hua usme uski kya galti hai?

pyaar pyaar bolta hai zaroort padne par woh pyaar kaha gayab hojaata hai?

marne mitne aur zindagi bhar saat dene jaise bade bade baatein karta hai par uspe bharosa q nay karta?

kithna jaanta ya samjta hai kalyani ko?

That's because nobody on the show is allowed to criticize Malhar (not talking about the villains, obviously)... if she did that, he'd get a quick reality check, so they must portray the woman he's mistreating as an idiot who can't defend herself so he can keep his nonsense up.

This is what I meant by male-biased writing character assassination or lack of growth for the female ones for the sole purpose of keeping the men "clean": log to yehi bolenge na ke galti Kalyani ki he because she let's him mistreat her? Eventually all will forget and forgive the hero's tortures on the female lead and keep finding excuses to blame Kalyani. Same old stuff.

I won't feel bad for Sarthak when he finds out the kid isn't his... he doesn't deserve to be a dad, given the way he's behaving like a monster to a child he thinks is his only because said child loves Kalyani.

I don't blame Malhar for misunderstanding Anu after reading Swara's diary. Aside from the whole revenge motive, Anu is known to be meek and submissive in front of the Deshmukhs. I would have even understood it if Malhar had given a chance to Kalyani to side with him and the Ranes before starting this hate track. But what is weird is that he immediately jumped to I'm going to hate Kalyani and torture her as revenge. Really, what was her fault in all of this? Or else, the dairy should have just said that Swara tried asking Kalyani for help as the DM but refused to believe her. Then, that would have been a real MU. For some reason, it seems the CVS didn't want an MU between KalMa yet wanted a hate track between them. But this reminds me more of the RS fake suicide note rather than the SamThu letter track.

Exactly. Had we seen Swara go to Kalyani and share her story/ask for her help, I'm sure she'd hAve gotten it. Kalyani isn't that fond of her Deshmukh relatives and only puts up with them for Anu's sake. Malhar went from declaring his love for Kalyani to anyone who'd listen to punishing her for something that happened/started when she was not here. Even if he repents later, his love and his word won't be worth a damn for me after this, and I wish Kalyani could be shown as growing a backbone and throwing him out of her life instead of bearing punishment for something she and Anu had zilch to do with.

I feel like in order to show a Malhar redemption/apology track, he will have to come close to losing Kalyani.

I fairly sure the CVS won't show KalMa officially separating, but I think he will be led to believe that Kalyani wants a divorce. Malhar only seems to get his senses back when he is about to lose/loses Kalyani.

Even in S1, he only realized her worth when their marriage got annulled and she was going to marry Atharva.
