You know di, more than Kunal, I feel meenu should have got insulted! She was the real culprit! Sure kunal said bad stuff to her. He was taking impulsive decisions for her, but when he realized his faults, he also used to try to make ameds right? And he always ended up getting publicly humiliated! On the other hand, meenu did so much more dirty stuff and she hardly ever repented! She needed to bear the brunt I feel
I would give him some benefit as in his defense, at that time he didn't know that she was also unaware about her father. And so he thought he has been cheated. So in turn he blurted out his frustration about the courtship which he didnt want. I think he just wanted to get marrried and get over the rejection of Shweta's. To whom, it didnt matter to him. So mish's conditions, her nature to take a stand even if it was against him irked him and he said all that.

Meenu got plenty of punishment from Abir, 1) before Mishbir wedding when Abir kept her away from all rituals and accused her of dropping the chandelier on them. 2) Towards the end when Abir wasn’t on talking terms with Meenu and didn’t forgive her for the surrogacy thing.
Only Abir could punish Meenu, nobody else could
