April 2, 2008 (Sawf News) - Rani Mukerji trampled the reputation of designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee under her knee high leather boots, when she attended his show at LFW at NCPA, Mumbai Tuesday, April 1, atrociously attired in a light blue tunic, leather belt, and blue jeans. Sabyasachi is Rani's favorite designer having styled her in Babul (2006) and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007). Rani's light blue top had three quarter sleeves and asymmetrical raw edge hem. She wore a broad tan leather belt on the waist that had a bow detail on the side. The belt was digging into her waist and accentuating her unflattering waistline that she would have been better off hiding. Heck! If we did not know better we would have thought she was pregnant! Rani probably chose a loose fitting top to hide the wrong curves around her waist but hen gaffed by using the belt to complete the cowgirl look. The skinny dark blue jeans with knee length tan leather boots that Rani wore would have looked good on a Jiah Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone or Amrita Rao…but Rani Mukerji?...give us break! What was Sabyasachi thinking, assuming he was the one who styled her. What was meant to be a cowgirl look came through as just a cow look! Rani had left her shoulder length hair open with a side parting and edges out turned. A neat make up and minimal jewelry kept the focus on her lovely light eyes.

She flaunted her French manicured nails at our photog when he came right in front of her to take the photograph!

Rani IS very pretty ... her close-ups r always nice... she may not have the perfect figure or height, thus gets difficult for her to carry outfits like these ...
She doesn't look horrible but its definitely not her kinda outfit. 😕 She does look pregnant.

I m surprised Sabyasachi mukherjee actually gave her that outfit to wear, considering he's worked with her alot of times.....i thot he'd know how to make her look realllly good...

What was she thinking when she wore that belt.....And that top🤢...Okay Designer Label.......But seriously.....Someone asks you to wear a dress and u wear it without checking if it'll suit u??? How can these actors be soo dumb......I mean come on........Dont u ppl have a mirror 😕 😕 😕

lol! i guess it was just a bad decision guys!!! GIVE HER A BREAK!!! no offense just saying my opinion. cuz it happens to all of us--- but i agree that actors should keep their reputation up because media is always following. 😕

The outfit which she is wearing is not Sabyasachi! It's simply a badly chosen outfit which does not suit her at all.

Rani should stick to getting fashion advice from Sabyasachi.

Dont like the top but like usual this journalist seems abit thick in uk most people wear jeans it not about just the jeans its the top and boots that made her whole outfit look worse jeans are fine itself
