All these albums were good with Mohabbatein being the most popular. Jatin-Lalit are very underrated. They never won the Filmfare Awards despite giving albums like DDLJ, KKHH, KKKG, Mohabbatein, Khamosi, Fanaa.
lol this song gives the same vibes as tum to thehre pardesi which I don’t like either 😆.
Mohabbatein > KNPH > Dhadkan

I like all the ones you mentioned but my personal 2000 favorite is the soundtrack from Fiza

Also, I always used to hear "Aa thook malun maaaain tere haathon mein" 😆

For the Bhumro song, I still don't know the lyrics properly. I just substitute some mumbo jumbo where I'm not sure of the lines.
I second Fiza as well. I was blown away when I heard the Haji Ali song, and it was my introduction of sorts to Sufiism. There was a lot of soul in those songs.
OT I loved KNPH. In fact my favorite song was Pyaar ki kashti mein. Followed by Lucky Ali's beautiful Na tum jaano na hum! Even liked Janeman Janeman, that was added later. Bh$$$$$d sab bhool gayela hoon almost!
I hated the entire album lol

2009 was a golden year for Bollywood music—arguably one of the last eras where albums (not just singles) truly mattered. A mix of soulful...
