The Crown S4

The best season yet, hands down. First things first, when was the last time you had a star cast that was THIS phenomenal? Olivia Coleman as the Queen, HBC as Princess Margaret, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles and last but not the least, Emma Corrin as the perfect Princess Diana.Didn’t mention Gillian Anderson who played Thatcher. I thought she was brilliant in her role, but heard a lot of people say MT didn’t speak like that in reality, so will hold off passing judgement there. If you didn’t already, you will fall in love with Princess Diana all over again, but your heart will break for what she had to endure. Truly a gem and you remember why she was known as the queen of hearts. Lots of little things which I didn’t know or had forgotten about were touched on like the Michael Fagan scenario. Loved the episode on who the favourite child was.😆If you’re a hardcore royalist, you won’t enjoy this season!

Rewatched Midsommar and it has such a tense atmosphere all throughout and the ending is a perfect finish. It is a must watch for people who enjoy psychological horror- descent of a human mind into madness and can digest bit of gore.

I watched a bunch of stuff....thought I might "review" some of it here....just to er..yea

The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)

I watched this one first from the Haunting series. Incisive...yes that's the word. I've seen pretty much all the horror that's out there...or some plagiarized version of better ones....but the ideas there...I've seen it all...but this...Bly Manor....wow...the peek into the world of kids....that was the best part for me at first...people dont get it....imma like you guys forgot your childhood or what....I dunno....but the writers get it....and then the other thing...with the "ghosts"...in all shapes and sizea...full spirits, half spirits, just remnants of a thought, an attachment, ......a moment of anger,...binding you...tying you....till you let go.....this series was absolutely revelatory! I've never seen anything like it....almost zero scares though so there's that.....I loved it! Move over James Wan....we got new playaas.....nah...jk...the Warrens always be my love!

Ofc I had to watch The Haunting of Hill House (2018)

Legit the scariest shit I've ever seen. Ofc it didnt help that I was er trippin when I watched it. I've always had this fascination with good horror movies....I save them like a treat...and a series this gripping when you know its good because well.....should've restrained.....The Bent Neck Lady....scariest stuff ever committed to celluloid....The ending seemed a bit rushed....but great great series....a "true" horror writer, an undertaker, a cold to the bone "psyhcis", family dynamics of a "haunted" family..... Love anything with Timothy Hutton anyhow...

The Big Short, Margin Call, Laundromat

The bIG Short is the best outta the three....sadly the world is primed to go through similar shite...and the sheeple are gung ho as ever. When confused always go with Christian Bale and/or Kevin Spacey. Laundromat tho not based on the 2008 financial crisis but on Panama Papers (remember how we indicted and incarcerated Panama Amitabh? No....ofc not because it never happened....The govt is still fighting the black money laying about in your home and mine....while Mr Bachan is a model citizen dispensing public health advisories. Laundromat is bad tho....really bad....the best part was the capsizing of the boat....it keeps getting worser and worser .....oh there was one other scene....the black money laundering tycoon cheating with his daughter's best friend....sheer disgust and fascination and "expectoratory" ..... That's Meryl Streep for ya. She's a shape shifter as an actress but not someone who can command and hold your attention like a Kevin Spacey or ever a Sylar in Margin Call....

The Worst Witch---I had er worked with a cast member from the original..looked it up on the inter webs...seemed interesting but didnt want to watch something 90s....then saw this....I am hooked...Love it.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019)

My new favourite

Dirk Gently's holistic detective agency---its sagan on juice! Watched Frodo's best friend Sam Gamgee in 50 First Dates 2 days prior. Really enjoyable...one of the better Sandlers definitely not least because of Waikiki and Sam Astin and father....Mazeltov.....----------------------------------------->Great Dictator---could not recognize Anna Faris at all tho familiarity kept niggling at me throughout.........2001 a space odyssey......2 days before the appearance of the Utah monolith.......read a passage by I am now definitively sertain was a "Rofs"....hark the rufus treepie is nibbling at ma guavas again

Sonam Kapoor gets endlessly dissed on this forum—sometimes for her acting, sometimes just for existing in that air of fashion-girl nonchalance....
