Mughal-E-Azam Vs Bahubali

Two films of different eras, both huge Blockbusters and classics, which were praised for it's grandeur, lavishness and beauty by the audience.

Which movie you like more?

Note : I'm counting both Bahubali: The Beginning and Bahubali 2: The Conclusion as one film which was slashed into two parts only for release.

MEA hands down. Better than Bahubali in every aspect of filmmaking. Be it story, grandeur, music,or acting wise.

Can't guess.

If one is attracted to women then Mughal-E-Azam because of Madhubala.

If one is attracted to men then Bahubali because of Prabhas.

MEL was just about ok but both Baahulbalis sucked

Baahubali. Full on loaded with entertainment and multiple high point moments. Repeat watch mein bhi it isn’t boring,

I kept dozing off while watching MEA. Grandeur or whatever it is, be damned.

Mughal-e-Azam is the best movie. The music, costumes and the language was amazing.

Bahubali was pathetic. I did not liked the movie. The war scenes looked way to fake and dramatized. Costumes of the non royal women in MEA looked much expensive than the lead family from bahubali.

Mughal e azam is real history - Akbar existed, Salim existed, Jodha Bai existed

Anarkali may or may not have existed but you look at any top love story list in world on google Salim-anarkali love affair comes in top 10 or 20 love story of all times

So MEA cannot be truly compared to Bahubhali a fiction story with fiction characters

May be you can compare it to bajiroa mastani another love story in history or shah jahan mumtaz love story

Bahubhali was not a love story like MEA it was revenge story

Otherwise also MEA dialogues and songs are legendray remembered 60 years after movie release also by many gens

spoofs of MEA and salim-anarkali-akbar keep happening on comedy shows always

MEA story is enacted in theatres plays, on stage etc

lets see if 60 years later bahubhali will be remembered and as famous as MEA

Repeat value is what counts ultimately

MEA has repeat value 60 years after release

MEA was re release in 2005 after 45 years and again became super hit. There were huge crowds and to get tickets in mall was tough for many days. That was how popular it was 45 years after release. Can bahubhali do the same?

Apart from Sholay i do not see any movie in bollywood having recall and repeat value like MEA after 40 years

Also in acting skills Prabhas cannot be compared to Dilip Kumar or Anushaka to Madhubala in beauty

Even the dialogues and song quality and sets were definitely superior to Bahubhali by miles

MEA over bahubali any day
