When Sadha refused Rajinikanth

Life of Sadha, the Tamil-Telugu superstar actress, is soon going to be changed. She was the first choice for the lead role against none other than Rajinikanth, in super hit film 'Sivaji The Boss'. The crossroad was a tough decision point, Sadha choose otherwise and kept Rajinikanth waiting for her projects in Bollywood.

Given a choice not many Bollywood actresses will go the Sadha way. With stature, which is seen comparable to Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan, Rajinikanth is a King far more popular. For many artistes, both the experienced and the not-so-experienced ones, it is a dream come true if they bag an offer to act with this superstar.

Instead Sadha chose the other way out and is now keenly waiting to reap what has been sown. Sadha's Bollywood Debut ("Dil to Deewana Hai") is all set to release in June'08. This film also marks the return of Zeenat Aman with Raj Babbar together after "Insaaf Ka Tarazu".

Sadha says, "Superstar Rajnikanth is a marvelous actor and it will be my pleasure to work in his films. Film industry works in tight schedule and it's sometime impossible to work along with some of the best actors in industry. I have given a prior commitment to "Dil to Deewana Hai" and so looking forward to open up in Bollywood soon."

Sadha portrays Anamika in "Dil to Deewana Hai", which is a romantic love story directed by Raja Bundela. The film deals with the changing mentality of the new generation, their attitude towards family values and traditions and the requirements of a bridge that can hold them between ethics and modern culture.

The music of the movie has been contributed by Anand Raj Anand. Cinematography has been done by Rajesh Joshi. The dialogues are written by Vikram Sood and Jayant Deshmukh has done the art direction. "Dil to Deewana Hai" is being produced by D.S Productions film.

That was a terrible mistake. For two reasons, if Sada had accepted Sivaji, Shriya won't have risen 😆 , and secondly, Sada wud have got all the hype that's going to Shriya now. Sada is definitely a much much better actress than Shriya, no doubt!And this 'Dil to Deewana hai' is not talked abt in Bollwood at all! 😕 Hope the movie does well.

I'm not so sure about the reliability of this news item, by IndiaGlitz. 😕

During the initial casting discussion for Sivaji, Sada was seriously considered for the one song item with Rajini. She had said, "I would even die for an opportunity like that". Most mags wrote that she would be the one for the opening song, but somehow Nayantara succeeded in clinching that opening number with Rajini!

hmmm.. is this news reliable? i mean why would sada refuse to work with rajini? didn't she openly proclaim she was dying to do something with rajini? it makes no sense at all that she refused 'Sivaji'.

anyway shankar's reasons for choosing shreya are quite laughable.😆😆😆 photogenic face.. yes that's right. shreya is very pretty but emoting skills? shankar needs glasses.😉😆😆

whatever it is, i wish sada all the best for her future career. 👏👏 she's one of the finest new actresses in kollywood & of course is my no.1 favourite. it's really sad that she's being considered a jinx by many heroes.😭 only madhavan seems to see the light & does films with her. hopefully she'll have better luck in bollywood.😃

Ya, Rajni has been chanting Aishwarya, Aishwarya for quite a long time. If he and his producer is ready to give 4 crores, maybe we'll see her in Robot.

With Sada too in bollywood, that will make 3 all together. Asin, Sada, Shriya. Asin and Sada are making their debuts, so there's all chance that either of them might win the Filmafare for the Best debut next yr, IF there are no Deepika Padukones or another Kapoor girl.I think Asin has the chance, its an Aamir Khan movie and its really talked abt everywhere. Hoping tht Sada gets noticed-she has the body too

Na, Vidya Balan won't do that!

Bolywood doesn't accept new girls quickly, since there are already a lot of them in the waiting list. But it depends on the big banner, big actor there. Since Ghajini is really hyped about,with the news of AK going bald for the movie and all that and after the success of TZP, and it being brought for a whooping 90 crores, its one of the most anticipated movies of the year. And its basically all abt how much your movie is hyped abt, there. Though , if the movie is stupid, it will definitley flop;look wht happened to Saawariya!Asin has the chance of making it big there, she's already got a Salman Khan movie in her kitty too.And she's not going to hide her skin, I saw 2 stills of the movie, and belive me, she has exposed quite a bit. Persian looking girl? I'm not sure abt that- who has a persian looking face among todays' actresses?

Aishwarya is not fair, say like Priety or Rani, she's coffee coloured. Her hair is black, only thing is she has green eyes. She's from the same community as Prakashraj.

The biography of Prakashraj says he is Tulu, same as Aishwarya Rai.

Thanks for the info abt Vadivelu but my family has had a pleasant experience with him. My cousin who lives in Canada was in India recently with his family. His daughter a 5-year old, adores V. Somehow, using his contacts, my cousin and his family magnaged to go the shooting site of a V film (I don't know what). V not only took time off to entertain the little girl, but also took photos with her and her family - we saw the pics.

I guess everyone has a good side and bad side to them.

I've also read that Vijay after a certain tiff with Vivek, did not want Vivek in any of his movies, after that. I remember, when Vijay was doing mainly love-centric movies, Vivek was there in almost all his movies. Then one didn't see Vivek in any of Vijay's movies till now. May be, after Piriyamanavale.. not sure. It seems Dharani wanted Vivek in "Kuruvi" and tried to convince Vijay, but don't know if Dharani succeeded.

Yup that incident about Vadivelu drunk and creating a mess with Vijayakanth's political supporters was all over the news, b'cos Vadivelu was kept all night in the Saligramam police station. Since he was badmouthing Vijayakanth even when he was with the Police, the police knew, if they let him out in that state, he would get into even more trouble with VK's supporters, waiting outside the Police station.

Apparently, VK's supporters had gathered around VK's sister's house for her husband (VK's BIL) had passed away. Vadivelu's office seems to be on the same street and since he couldn't get his car into his usual spot, he seemed to have gotten out of the car and yelled obscenities at them. When they tried to tell him that they were there to pay their last homage to the dead, he wasn't in a sober state to listen and started bad mouthing Vijayakanth too.
