What is your opinion on Pre-marital sex? - Page 2

If it was before marriage with your fiance then no issues. If it was with some other guy & girl after both have agreed to marry each other then it is cheating. If one has slept with girls and boys before the two even got to know each other then it is fine. But guess what girls/boys? What if the boy/girl has gotten a lot more action than you ever did and he/she reveals it all. Will you be even remotely interested in marrying such a person. Anyone who has had too much sex before marriage with someone else other than her/his would be partner is frankly loose character and not trustworthy.

Ew, can't believe so many people are against pre-marital sex. What if you are not compatible in bed after marriage? Will you guys divorce then? Or you are going to compromise? I'm guessing it's the latter. How sad that one would willingly do that to themselves.

Quite the contrary. If they are openly admitting they've had a lot of sex, then they're all the more trustworthy. It means they are not trying to hide anything.

Having sex with multiple people doesn't make someone a loose character. This is a regressive view. Anyone who lies/cheats/manipulates is someone whose character is poor. If someone is open about their sex life and have no qualms about it, that only makes them rich in charcter.

In ITV heroines lecture about how bad is pre marital sex. But in a rainy night does it with the hero and gets pregnant immediately.

I am against sex both pre and post marital. God should have had made better ways to have kids.

Sex is such a taboo in desi society that ppl can’t give sexual compatibility as a reason for divorce

Hell yeah. Firstly I need to test the goods to avoid signing up for a lifelong mission of being sexually frustrated for life. Secondly, I feel a lot of women shy away from sex and end up being just mute spectators in their intimate life, we should stop only thinking that men should be good in bed because many women due to lack of sexual experience simply suck in bed ( ref. my male friends).

I cannot believe thst this is even up for debate. Let ppl fcuk in peace!

Also, it's not necessary because, it's a personal and possibly a time which belongs to two people only, it's a closed door event and should remain behind that only. Neither it's like cheating your current partner nor is it like it will hamper the trust or compatibility.

But doesn't a person no matter a man or woman has the right to choose his/her life partner however he/she wants?

If a guy wants or expects a virgin girl as a life partner, it's his choice, no matter how disgusting we find it.

We can reject that guy but how would he react by knowing about my sex life, I don't know. So hiding this fact from him looks like giving a betrayal. If we don't find anything wrong in pre-marital sex then we should own that in real life as well, even in front of conservative people.
