How can he marry his own niece? 😕 Is that not illegal? 🤔
Ek "off" hona chahiye tha title mein.
Assuming they are Hindus , is she her real niece ? Even then not illegal , if it has been a customary practice in his clan or community..
tamil nadu until the last generation had this practice of uncle marrying niece. ( man can marry his sisters daughter)
Sweet Home Alabama....
I remember when there used to be debates around some Islamic countries practicing the tradition of marrying your cousins, I read that this tradition exists in some places in the South. Frankly, I think India needs to enforce a complete ban on such practices. Chi yaar.
Lol it is a thing in South Indian communities (Tamil, Telugu, Malayali, idk about Kannada though)...
But it has become very rare in the current generation, especially among more urban/educated groups... it is mostly seen as an old fashioned/gavaar thing today 😆

A country's law should be same for all. I don't understand why a certain religion always gets the perks of practicing different laws for themselves. Rome mein ho toh Roman ho nahin toh Pakistan jao.
