As Aniruddh declared his decision, Bondita couldn’t help but stand still looking at blankness while a lone tear made its way through her left eyes to her cheeks. He knew what he wanted. In fact he always knew what he wanted. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she shifted her gaze to look at the man standing in front of her. His face was firm and strong, in fact happy after the declaration. He’d always wanted this, didn’t he? Still Bondita looked at him in a hope that he’d change his words, as her eyes brimmed with tears, threatening to fall at anytime now. But alas, Aniruddh did nothing but turn his back to her and slowly walked outside the room.
He wanted to marry Saudamini.
The moment she got her barrister certificate, it wasn’t the happiness which overwhelmed her. It was the fear, fear of losing the man she loved which overwhelmed and ruined all her senses. Aniruddh had fulfilled his promise; he had made her self sufficient. Now it was her time to pay back. To set him free, so that he can make a life of his own – with the one whom he loved.
Bondita turned her head to look at the door of what was their room for the past ten years even though she lived alone there, to see Aniruddh’s slowly retreating figure. He stopped at the door step to turn and take a look at her. Bondita looked at him, trying her best to not reveal anything even though she knew he was aware of her feelings. Before her eyes were blurred with tears, she tried hard to find any trace of love for her in his eyes but she couldn’t see anything other than the care which has been from the day he married her to save her life.
Bondita bit back as she felt her lips trembling as she was on the verge of breaking into sobs as she kept staring whom he called her husband with so much pride all these years. Bondita quite ironically passed a faint yet strong smile at him through her tears while Aniruddh looked at her intently. Did he feel guilty? Why would he?
But after a moment of glancing at her, he walked away. She heard faint voices of him asking Bihari Kaka to help Bondita pack her bags. For a moment she felt so jealous of Saudamini, who was lucky enough to get this man’s love all her life while she wasn’t even lucky enough to be considered for it. Saudamini had waited her whole life for him. Responsibility, she was!
She collapsed on the floor on her knees as she broke down into uncontrollable sobs as she felt her whole world crashing down with her hearts turning to a huge mess of tiddly particles, from where she couldn’t even find them to at least try to mend it. Well how can she, when the one in whom she hid her whole damn world just left her to live with his memories to be with the one in whom he hid his whole world.
“Kehti hai ishq duniya jise,
Kehti hai ishq duniya jise
meri jann-e-mann,
Iss ek lafz mein chupi kainaat hai.”

A take of Rudhita if Saudamini being a loyal and true lover waited for him while Aniruddh fulfilled his responsibilites, his heart always loving his first and only love.
I know this exceeds the word limit of a drabble, but I didn't want to call it an OS. Its super random.
Not asking for anything,
Love,
