Im with Nikki i dont find it wrong, she used her brain wisely. Even when Rahul tried snatching she was able to secure it.

I stand by what I said - What Nikki does absolutely cringy and embarassing to watch but -- she did what she needed to do in order to avoid a physical situation which would have resulted in her loss.

Nikki never makes issue out of these kinda things, benefit of doubt de diya hoga. But Rahul needs tO be very careful.

Lets be real. We all were raised in a patriarchal society and, no matter how progressive we like to believe we are, at the end of the day there are many conscious and unconscious forms of sexism in all of us. What else could she do?

Rahul was using his own natural advantage, which is his male muscle strength, against Nikki. I don't disagree with Rahul at all here, I even supported it during the Jasmine fight episode. At the end of the day, he is using what he has in his toolkit to ensure victory. Well, isn't what Nikki did the same? She countered Rahul's strength by taking advantage of the fact that Rahul cannot touch her inappropriately. So what? Why can Rahul use his biological advantage but she can't use her social advantage to win?

I ask all of you try to refrain from using words like "it was cheap" etc. which is highly subjective and comes from cultural conditioning and give me a solid reason of what is wrong with Nikki's move? How else could she win? Should she have given up the task and just started a tug of war which she would surely lose?

What she did is literally below the belt and super cringe but the show pits girl with a boy and allows the use of basic physical strength which is obviously an advantage for a guy, she used expected etiquette from the same guy to her advantage. There was no other way she could win and it was instinctive since he was trying to pull it from her.

In no way am I saying what she did wasn't embarassing or cringing. I couldn't watch through it myself. But at the end of the day, what she is the very essence of 'saam daam dand bhed.' She had a task to win and she did.
