Ranbir, if you're standing, grab a seat. Now, hold on to something. No OSO secret marriage scene could have prepared you for this: Deepika has done it again, and this time it is for real. Bollywood's newest pin-up girl is secretly married to her former flame Yuvraj Singh.

In an explosive chat with CT, an aunt of the cricketer, Khushboo Singh, revealed that the two had secretly married on December 10 last year, just two days before Yuvraj's 26th birthday.

" Un dono ne gurudwara main chupke se shaadi ki, Yuvraj ke bhai wahan thhe. Tab Deepika ki picture aayi thi, isliye kisise kuch nahin kaha gaya ," she said.

That explains the "bonding" the then lovebirds displayed at Yuvraj's birthday bash. The way Deepika mingled with the guests at the party sparked off "rumours" that the two were engaged, though the actor fended them off deftly. CT had earlier reported how Deepika dismissed all talks of her engagement to Yuvraj as "the strangest thing" she had ever heard.

Yuvi and Deepika have everything going for them. Even Yuvraj's mother Shabnam Singh, who had made it clear to her beta that no girls from Bollywood would be entertained in her family, seems very fond of Deepika. When we contacted Mama Singh, she refused to comment. "Deepika ne jo kiya, uska koi toh karan hoga. Isse zyaada mein kuch bolna nahi chahti ," she said. Our SMSes to Yuvraj and Deepika were left unanswered. Even Yuvraj's otherwise motormouth father preferred to remain tight-lipped on the issue.

Deepika has now found love in Ranbir Kapoor's arms while Yuvraj has moved to "greener pastures". Or have they? Could all the link-ups and hypes be a strategy of the newly-weds to deflect attention from their marriage and keep their fanbase intact? As a film critic, who did not wish to be named, pointed out, "Because Deepika is a newcomer in the film industry, it could spell doom for her career if news of her marriage is leaked out. We all know that a married actor does not have the same market as an unmarried one."

As Deepika moved from Nihar Pandya to Dhoni to Yuvraj back to Nihar and finally to Ranbir, the media has been following her trail. But who would have guessed that she'd get into a commitment so early in her career? Us, who else!
